There's a scene the ex try to seduce him when they're still together. Instead of feeling the rush, Junhyeong feel nausea instead. When they're fighting too, the ex force him to have a talk, but Junhyeong not in the right of mental state so he fight so hard not to vomit right there and then. Both Junhyeong and the ex just aren't compatible for each other. It's just worse with the ex keep making remarks of how she help him so much, which just trigger Junhyeong trauma because his dad also did the same thing. So there Junhyeong break off with his ex in ugly terms that become his regrets.
