Both the art & the story was nice too. Very bittersweet but romantic & nostalgic
I always find it a bit jarring when really round/chibi/cute styles of animation have immediate smut lol
Why did they just immediately start taking off his pants as if that's just the done thing when someone is drugged? I was actually enjoying this story but that plot device is just so cliche it took me out
1 he was feeling hot and stuffy
2 an aphrodisiac is not real the same as a drug

The first course of action def shoulda been getting him to a safe place and calling for help, not making him more vulnerable in the middle of the store
Their relationship is sweet but toxic at the same time. Tamaki is legit traumatized...the sexual assault (or fear of it) from his mother is horrific & understandably has affected him. Shi is well-intentioned but so many wrong moves to someone w/Tamaki's trauma. (tho I appreciate that he tried to get an adult involved bc the mother situation is serious)
Also Takumi is scum. I get Shi lied, but going w/a highschooler in the 1st place was gross. Then to not verify his age? The author is trying to make him likable but...no thanks
I know this is an older work, but I just can't get past the blatant rape. Someone doesn't just "get over" being raped bc the other person is sorry or falls in love...it was a gross concept in 2016 (even as a common trope) & it's even worse now imo
The overall story is a little cliche, but the author did their best to keep it interesting & the characters were all likable. Their romance is super sweet & the art is beautiful. Have read it twice & it was enjoyable both times
I've read a lot of crazy things (I mean I've seen hedgehog-man sex) but I just can't get over the bird aspect... there is nothing sexy about a giant bird beak in your face. I just keep thinking of the mites & diseases birds can carry lmao

But not my fave ╮(￣▽￣)╭ Too much focus on the Niko story - I get if the author was setting him up for a spin-off, but even so it should have been resolved in 2 chapters
Rou being so desperate for this dude's friendship & up in his business was weird. I get that he's oblivious (no change from vol.1) but spending the night w/your coworker who doesn't like you just bc they got dumped?? & not leaving until someone says - maybe your bf wouldn't like this? Why tell someone vulnerable "if i were single i’d go for you in a heartbeat?" I'm glad the author at least didn't go w/Niko falling for him (small mercies)
Saving grace is Yoshino & the sweet moments btw them. Rou genuinely is head-over-heels & they're so wholesome when they're together
Overall not bad, but you kind of wonder what the point of this sequel even was lol
