At the start they were an interesting flawed pair w/their own issues...I appreciate that Hira made progress w/normal friendships, but it's 3 steps back w/Kiyoi (╯°Д °)╯╧╧ why tf are you doing sexual things w/him but you can't have a conversation w/out groveling & acting like you're going to kill yourself? Kiyoi is actually making an effort to change & try to make it a functional relationship...but it's like he said - Hira only cares about some ideal fantasy instead of the real person. I get he has insecurity issues but he's the kind of person when any time they hear a perceived critique, they break down & their partner has to coddle them. It's a big emotional burden - like pls get therapy my guy
this author often stretches stories out so much that it gets boring & you forget the story w/the slow updates. Like it should not take 9 whole volumes to get to a point where they're a couple but the ml is still tsundere max & his father complex/homophobia is still a problem. I'm begging for a time skip or smth major to happen & move this plot along
(〜￣△￣)〜 I don't need total personality changes, but I'm getting tired of Kirara being stupid & embarrassing (tho well-intentioned & sweet), then Ken calling him an idiot & seemingly hating 75% of everything about him (if you have to endure your bf hugging you...bro) I'm begging for more growth faster than this snail's pace

Yeah no yakuza/hitman/crime lord x normie story is every going to be that realistic or healthy but the characters are likable & the author captures chemistry & intimacy well. There are some plot holes tho (or maybe I didn't read that closely lol). Like why was he calling Theo his brother?? I get when he went to the military Theo was abused but I don't get that storyline at all ╮(￣▽￣)╭ overall pleasant 4/5 for me
I'm not crying I'm not crying（/TДT)/ so sweet but painful - I know it doesn't fit the story but I wish we could see just one extra glimpse of their reunited afterlife
I absolutely love this author (all their works are great) hopefully the next volume gets fully translated!
This was a bit more gory & heavy than I expected but it sucks you in! Actually really enjoyed it! Gitae is a baddie & I love him lol
