In my opinion, most likely, though it’s more implied and not certain, because they did say to make the death as horrendous as possible. 0x0 I would like to argue that maybe they had enough conscience not to “besmirch her honor” (I think that’s how they would say it back then) but like, if they want to make sure to anger Jeremy so that they could make use of him for their plans I don’t think they would miss those kinds of details... if she wasn’t raped (I hope she wasn’t), they would at least make signs to signify that she was to create the public outrage the Church needed for their plans. Then again, I could have misinterpreted some stuff soo...
