For me, the ending was fine. But not "wow, so good that it was worth all the drama". Like, not enough to drop it, but at the end I was still mildly annoyed with it. Especially since the "evil" association dude that lied to the MC and manipulated him did not get any consequences whatsoever. He just has a realisation that "huh, the ML is so much better than me, so I can never beat him" And stops being an asshole, then that's it. Idk, it's not enough to drop it, but I did not come out of this feeling satisfactory.

I think it's worth continuing if you just wanna see a happy ending for the MC and ML. There are some parts that were unnecessary (to me) but who are we to judge someone's craft uk. I believe it's a good read.
