ik there’s only 7 chaps as of yet but c’mon man. “hey you were disowned and sent to a covenant.. but now that ur bro is gone u gotta protect the country!” literal braindead recycled plot. she was prob sent away to “protect her” but AS ALWAYS THERES A LACK OF COMMUNICATION AND ALL THE BLAME IS PUT ON THE FUCKIN FL. she doesn’t even want to rule the kingdom or go to the capital, the ML came and GOT HER.. BROUGHT HER INTO THE POLITICAL STRIFE.. “i will protect you THIS time” yeah sure buddy.
what a way to start a series ig- seme is a total asshole, i feel bad for the uke. obviously the seme “loves” the uke but he’s DOGSHIT at communication, and the power imbalance between them is just icing on the cake. the uke would be homeless without the seme’s family, he has no stable attachments to anyone and feels like he has to be “useful” to stay. poor guys gonna be hella maladjusted.

why can’t the FL just live her own life and figure out what SHE wants without being pressured by her family and even her (new) friends??? like- “omg now that ur trying to break it off w ur fiancé who are you gonna end up with now??” LET HER HEAL FROM HIS INFIDELITY FIRST!! FL spent her life with pretty much no family (aside from the servants.. who had to keep a certain distance from her bc the classist hierarchy n shit). neglect REALLY fucks with the brain and how people process trauma, but i doubt this author knows/cares enough to include her working on her issues. she’ll just end up with either the prince (who clearly doesn’t know proper reptile husbrandy smh smh) or the duke (typical)- and “fix” her issues by being with them (“oh wow i got the love i needed <3” instead of “i love myself, and before my family n shit i am ME”. this story is just a continuation of her life without choices, she WILL end up with one of those men.
she’s sweet.. perhaps too sweet. the staff treat her like shit (like bro- they’re PAID to serve you, fuck the curse get that BREAD). ML doesn’t know how to express emotions (typical) and is off to a ROUGH start with the FL. she’s there to SAVE HER FUCKIN COUNTRY, and he’s like “>:( fuck you!” like- c’mon man, act like a fuckin future ruler and hear her out.

and the WILD amount of smut.. and her cringey as fuck outfits, i really like the design of the “twisted ones” and the overall premise is really neat. tbh i think this story could be good, the world is interesting, the MC has a cute color scheme and cool horns, a fun(ish) personality and there’s good chemistry w the ML(s). BUT her hypersexualization lowkey ruins it. like c’mon what the fck is she wearing 90% of the time? her biddies and are practically side characters with how much screen time they get.
