tbh i actually kinda understand raymond.. i’m pretty sure there was a power imbalance, ( i read with my eyes closed i only gaf ab the main couple) she was damn near scary and abusive overall. of course he was disturbed. i just wish they didn’t make him act all weird and in denial for the sole reason being her disinterest.. i think it would be different if he saw how she changed and it triggered mixed feelings like “aww she was like this when she was young and then everything got twisted” but it was more like “u don’t want meee n now i want u cus u don’t want me” cus in his pov he hardly knows about her change & he’s still living in this angsty reality w his intense lil panels. so honestly it seems out of character. i wouldn’t blame the character tho, i’d blame the writing. i think otherwise he’d be a pretty solid second male
