On last color spread we saw Luffy, Zoro, Sanji and Nami with Roger, Rayleigh, Gaban while there wasn't Shakky on it, the way Nami was drawn was really similar to her vibe, also in good future drawings Oda did for SBS older Nami looks like Shakky. Now in the current chapter not only they look similar, they also behave in similiar way, as we can see by Shakky using her charm to scam people for their money while doing business

Nooo, it's not ugly traits, they're very cute! Someone said here it's because in the past people weren't very open minded (which I agree with that statement) but I also think it's because it's Korean manhwa probably and they have different beauty standards (which are quite strict, and that's not really good imo) and in the past most people thought people with more tanned skin were lower class or something. But these traits are beautiful, freckles and this skin colour so please don't worry <3
