Omg yes! captive prince is my favorite novel the fact that I've been finding any bl w similar story. Do u have any recommendations?
For sure cruel prince is a good read, but it's just vibes that is similar but nothing else and couple is hetero, honestly it's hard to find something similar to that, I think I would recommend Mao dao zhu shi (the respect and friendliness between main couple is similar), kill the lights - novel (still similar vibes, and power imbalance, not story), fallen hero by Xing Bao Er (toxic love story, but interesting), The Legendary Master's Wife by Yin Ya novel, is gold super long, and sometimes weird but gold and you can read it on the internet, the dynamic between couple is super fun so if you have enough of toxic yaoi couples I recommend every thing here besides fallen hero, if you love the drama then everything that I had written here :)
Oh and good story to read is also "under the oak tree" hetero couple in medival times, both novel and comics are good, but novel is +18 and comic is missing those scenes

Well, than I see that you have a good taste in novels indeed XD You give me a hard nut to crack, I need a little time to think about a good story to recommend, but they might not be have different vibe than captive prince, the last one that I can recommend is slightly similar (but thats a little of a stretch) is HUA HUA YOU LONG (it's the same author that written a Fallen Hero, so it's very toxic love story) and FENG YU JIU TIAN, it's cute isekai about the uke that transfered to the body of double of Chinese prince (seme) and their way to conquering the country
