For me Yul is a very sad character and I pity him even more than main character. It's not that I like psychos, and monopolize your love one is a bad thing, but he didn't do anything that bad to her to receive such a response. He only wanted her love, the incident in middle school wasn't really that bad (he didn't rape her nor forced to kiss) he just wanted her to don't leave him and she was the one who approached him first... (▰˘◡˘▰)
He ignored her fear of men and trapped her in a small location, fully understanding that she was reaching a point where she was scared of him. When someone says they want to break up the worst possible solution is to lure them into a locker and get trapped inside (he probably knew they'd be locked in, the creep)
I pity him too but for completely different reasons -- his mental wellbeing is unhinged -- and I don't think we should try to justify his actions because he loves her. He can love her and like... not be a crazy, overbearing, manipulative creel

I completely agree .. he also set her up for failure .. the other guy in school and the girl were put in that position because of yul .. he made it so she would become dependent on him .. his mental health was just not good .. i pity him for that reason and that reason only ... his ‘love’ didn’t seem as though it was that ... it seemed as though he just wanted someone to support him and be there and he can have complete control over .. I don’t believe his actions are justifiable though but that’s just my opinion

You misunderstood, I didn't try to justify his actions because it was cleary patological but I also think that she (because her mental health also isn't good) react in wrong way. She should know at this point that he is mantaly ill so she shouldn't treat him like a normal person. In her situation she should call a police but she shouldn't treat him like some demon or dirty insect. (▰˘◡˘▰)

It still sounds like you're victim blaming her? It sounds like you're saying it's her fault things got this way because she continued to treat him as a normal person but 1) she didn't know Yuri was Yul and 2) she's socially awkward to the point where it makes sense that she wouldn't know how to handle Yuri's advances other than the way she did
Her mental stability is entirely separate from Yul's and no matter how she handled the situation his actions would still be his own. I don't think I misunderstood what you're trying to say I think you just wrote it poorly

He emotionally and mentally abused her, caused her to become isolated, alone, abandoned, and caused her to cut ties with everyone else in her life. He's a textbook emotional abuser. He did A LOT wrong, he's an abuser. Do NOT excuse emotional abuse just because it isn't physical or sexual, it's JUST AS harmful.

You seriously doesn't seen the difference between "I didn't said that he do nothing wrong" and "he didn't do anything that bad" I admit that he do wrong things but they weren't that bad, maybe because I'm already adlut that's why I meet people who were horrible jealous for they partners and see how people can end that relationship without having mental problems? You know for me their parents are mostly reasons why they are like that specially mother of the main character.

yeah no that’s my point... he did really awful, bad things. he’s horribly, extremely abusive. and I am also an adult.

And you still seem to not understand what I mean by "that bad", but that's okey, some people are just more delicate to those things, so maybe we just end it here? Or do you want to talk more about something else?

if someone just watched another person in the act of murdering their victim and neglected the scene without even calling help, its WRONG isnt it? even if the acts of the bystander were wrong, were they not BAD just coz he couldve done worse or at least he wasn't the one who murdered? would you also pity the bystander? or maybe the victim shouldn't have involved themselves with a murderer..
i do pity yul is a sense that he is not capable of empathizing and understanding others feelings... but that doesnt justify his actions of make any less wrong or bad in my opinion..
read your statement again... "but he didn't do anything that bad to her to receive such a response" but he did.. he did terrible things to her that affected her whole lifestyle and mentality. I dont understand how you can give Yul a pass for acting the way he does, but not understand Sian in the same level.
Yeah Sian couldve called the police and maybe Yul couldve not locked her in and trap her with him when she was clearly struggling. Both characters are mentally unstable, but in no way can u justify Yuls actions then or make it.
hunny idk what youve been through to sympathize more with Yul than Sian.

"hunny idk what youve been through to sympathize more with Yul than Sian" Dunno I don't really think so much about it I just feel like that, but maybe because Sian have clearly some true friends and Yul is not capable to make any. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ Also sorry but I will not response to your other arguments, because I'm lazy and don't really care about this webtom that much, but I really appreciate that you use your time to think so much about it. Idk, why people have such a problem that FL cry so much? Some people just cry really easy when they feel bad, sometimes even when they don't want to, so imagine that you see someone dear to you that is close to be burn to death. Most of you would cry as well. (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
