And with that one always expect the unexpected.XD

Ok, first extreme/dominant alphas have problems with feeling emotions the earlier they manifest. Chase manifested late, his 4 alpha sibling before theys were 5! And those alphas need to release their pheromones regulary, too man accumulated pheormones can cause brain damage, happened to Chase's alpha father. Spoiler.

Chase beeing the most normal and sensitive of 6 children suffered by the way he grew up. He was thrown down the stairs, pushed in front of a car, thrown down a chimney etc. They wanted to help Chase. And when his first rut him, his older brother Grayson got his dog Alex in a panic as a substitute, but Chase passed out, before anything could happen. But since he can't remember, but knows that a dog was present, he got a trauma (afraid of losing controle/can't rememeber and afraid of dogs). (explain a bit about the family further down, without context you don't understand it)

So Chase doesn't want to sleep with anyone, since he is afraid of losing controle and hates that it is by instinct and not real interest/love. Which causes a problem, since he has to release pheromones. So he gets injections and medicines, normaly they force him to go to the pheromone parties, and give him the injection there. It's easier because of the pheromones floating around and Steward (doctor/scientist) and his staff are often present for emergencies.
Let's say it's not the healthiest way to deal with it. His father also went that route, for 10 years. He is now unable to feel emotions aside for his partner. It caused braindamage and he is dependant on his dominant omega's pheromones.

Chase is now actually Joshuasexual.^^ He was a virgin, his only partner was and is Josh...while Josh was a womanizer, really bad (but I guess no one can beat Dane lol).:D

Josh will later be the dominant in that relationship, Chase became pretty docile, he is clingy, needy, and would do anything for Josh. Even offered to be the stepdad of his (own) child.lol He even offered to bottom, but Josh declined.:D

By the way, Josh has to save Chase a few times.^^But Chase is not the best example for an dominant alpha in that regard.:D (Josh is currently trying to teach him selfdefense^^)

The Miller family (most of the following is not in KMIYC, and I won't go into detail. Just some thing to understand KMIYC better):

That family is extremely rich and influental. Having a very successful law for for 3 generations. During Grayson's story, which is chronologically the last, Ashley Miller is a senator and most likely the next president.

The alpha father Ashley, as I mentioned can't feel emotions anymore, but would do anything for his partner Koi (Connor). But also has trauma from his parents ( who also have their own story), to make it short: he actually didn't want children, because he feared one could turn out like his alpha father....But Koi wanted a whole football team...they had 6 (Nathaniel, Grayson/Stacy, Chase, Larien, and Bliss) in the end.

Since Koi, who loves his "little angels", can't smell and almost died when the children intentionally gave him spoiled food (Grayson baked that cake, he wasn't even 10 years old at that point) to see if Koi really can't smell, and just watched. Koi was no longer allowed to go near the children, and if only together with Ashley. So the emotionless alpha father had to deal with 4 children who had problems with emotions, Chase and their only dominant omega child. Actually he chipped all of his children, they are monitored by secretaries all the time, also as adults.
And Chase was someone who was seeking attention and love, as you can imagine this would have been problematic in this family. Since Koi knew that Chase had problems with the familily he wanted a way so he could connect to others outside of the family, Ashley's came up with that chocolate commercial a client was searching a little girl for. That's how Chase's acting carreer started.

Grayson, who has a twinsister, was born manifested, they thought he was completely emotionless. He is imitating emotions, because he doesn't understand them. But he was trained to be "almost" perfect at it. That's why his "smiling" face and what he says can some over as weird:D
Chase fell victim to his problematic way of helping. Grayson's intentions are most of the time sincere, he really wants to help. But what "he thinks" will help can turn out as not helpful, just weird, or even harmful. But don't want to go into further details here, because he has his own novel and that would be massive spoilers, since that novel was only finished last month.

lol that wasn't even a summary of the story, only help to understand Chase and at the same time a bit on that family.
If the wait is really so hard, there is the option to read the novel. The novel isn't that long. In the manhwa we're at ~1/3 of the main story of the novel.
You never know how long a hiatus will take when health issues are involved.

Or did you want a full summary/ the events that happens etc. of this story? I only focused a bit on Chase's character and background. I mean I can do a summary too, if you need.

Ok, starting with the second volume where the manhwa left, at least what I remeber.^^....
Josh meets Yeonwoo, Keith's secretary (same meeting as in KML). He can't contact Henry and Isaac (we later find out that Henry confessed to Isaac). Josh runs into Chase, and helps him "release" with his hands.
Later you see the other bodyguards asking why Josh has Chase's phromones all over him. And since the pheromones are affecting Josh a bit he tells them he probably catches a cold or something. Seth tells him, when they are alone, that he is aware that he is an omega, because he saw his inhibitors 3-4 years ago.
Emma visits, asking as Keith's secretary if everything was ok at the party. She finds out that Josh works for Chase. (Chase sees them through a window)
What happens next is an interview, where an fellow actor (Duncan) provokes Chase. Chase suddenly kisses him...and bites his tounge in two..... .
Later Josh see Chase sleeping in the garden, asks if he wants a blanket. Thinking of kissing him, but what happened to the actor fresh in mind.

Then you see them start filming. Naomi (actress form KLM) is also in that movie.
Chase suddenly acts strange, and needs to see his doctor (Chase is heavily on drugs/ medicines specially while filming).
They go to Stewards clinic (that doctor is the first address for dominant alphas). There are chocolates, specially Henry eats a lot of them. Steward takes care of Chase, we find out that he thinks that Chase would have been better off if he would have been born as an beta. he changes his medication. Also Bliss, Chase's younger brother who is the only dominant omega in that faimly, is mentioned.
After they left, there is a woman with a broke down car. And suddenly they are attacked, there is shooting and there is a car chase. Henry passes out, seems the choloate was drugged. They get separated, Josh, Chase and Mark are in one car. They get rid of their chasers, but the car broke down. Marks tries to find help and leaves.
While Chase and Josh are alone a pack of coyotees appears and attacks them. Chase's dog trauma kicks in, he is unable to move. So Josh defends him against the coyotees, he has no gun or knifes. At some point Chase passes out. Has an episode where he as a negative memory of his childhood. When he wakes up, Josh had defeated the coyotees, he is bloodied, but wants a cigarette and talks about wanting a kiss from Chase, but nothing happens. They get rescued afterwards. Josh has to go to the hospital, but spends the night at home.
That's around the end of the second volume I tink, I'll continue later.

I forgot volume 2 goes a bit farther...
Josh spends time with Pete and runs again into Yeonwoo, they talk. And Josh is a bit mad, because he now knows that Yeonwoo is the one his sister was after (she is into that type, to Josh's chagrin). Back at the mansion Mark tell him to go to Chase frist, but that doesn't happen, because next we get some bodyguard-drama.^^
Josh first checks on Seth (he got injured during that ambush) and talks with him.
Seth checks if there is a pheromones scent on his neck. Isaac sees it and gets mad, he is jealous. Seth is aware that Isaac has a crush on Josh and says it out loud. Everyone is shocked, and now Henry gets mad. He attacks Isaac and runs away, while Seth explains to Josh that Henry has a rush on Issac. Henry confessed to Isaac during that party.
At night Josh remembers he has to got Chase, but Chase is not in his room, he goes through the backdoor to sees Chase coming out of the ocean, naked. Chase checks his wounds and their body come into contact, they kiss and sleep together.
That should be the end of volume 2.

During that encounter Chase actually mentions that he is very wet and ask about that plaster on his ears, Josh anwers that the heaphone hurts. Chase is glad that Josh an omega.^^

Later Josh is concerned about the camera, he runs into Seth and he tells him, that they turned it off in Chase's room. When Seth asked him why Josh is this kind of bad condition ( sleeping with Chase took it's toll and he was in hospital before) he said he stumbled and fell on the beach.

Chase goes back to filming, their relationship has changed. They started sleeping togehter. Emma visited the set, work releated, talked to Josh. Chase saw it. They have sex and Chase tells him to not meet Emma again.:D He is really jealous, and it needs Josh to explain to him that Emma Baily is his sister.lol
Josh punishes him ( I don't want to go into details here, just saying that the omegas Josh and Dane are both bigger perverts than their alphas....Chase is completely innocent and Grayson is not in the same league as Dane...probably no one is...)

I continue it later.

Chase sees Josh's scars and asks after them, he also see the caesarean scar, but Josh tells them it was appendix. Later Chase smells omega phromones on Josh, he is confused, but Josh tells him, that there were a lot of omegas where he bought food. (Chase belives all that). Grayson appears again, and Chase reacts as always, the dog thing is mentioned again, that he got his dog on Chase's first rut as a subsitute etc.
After Josh got Grayson away, Grayson told him what he/they did to Chase as kids, throw him down a chimney, infront of a bus, locked him up etc. Josh was shocked to hear about that kind of abuse, but Grayson sincerely said that was to help Chase. He doesn't get Josh reaction.
Josh later asks Chase if he should punish Grayson etc. And Chase tells him that Grayson is unable to feel emotions and that he fakes them.
Josh decided to meets with Dane Striker (redhead form KLM), go get some suppressants and some small talk. They have a military background together.
Chase meanwhile see the caesarean scar of another actor and is confused when she told him what it is, but he is still convinced that Josh is an beta.
Josh sees Chase in women's clothes for a scene they were filming. Remembers that Chase in girl's clothes was his first love.
He runs into Isaac who is still pursuing him, to make him stop he tells him that he would only get together with the mother of Pete. Pete was mentioned, too. Chase overheard it. They sleep togther again, but asks Josh some questions, and Josh mentions the night thex spend toghetehr, but the person (Chase) can't remember. (Chase get's jealous of himself.).
Chase is really confused, that Josh has child, there is the child's mother who would be the only one he would be together with he even asks Naomi for an opion on that (wihout giving names), and that scar. He is afraid of losing Josh.
He asks Marks, about having a child, and he tell him about Pete and the mother left them.

Josh is going to fetch Chase's medicine and want's to aks if they could change the medication. There he runs into Grayson. They talk, and Josh finds out, that Grayson got his dog in a panic during Chase's first rut, because there was no one to spend it, but he passed out and nothing happened. Josh complains why he is alwas bringing it up. Then Grayson starts to talk, that Chase doesn't want to sleep with anyone, he is not even putting a hand on himself. And in addition it would be problematic if he were with someone random, since is loses his mind during rut and could impregnate someone (looking at you Josh...) That they drag him to those pheromone parties they are forced to give him an injection to get rid of his pheromones, since pheromone accumulation is dangerous for dominant alphas.

Josh is shocked, but also becomes aware that Chase was a virgin. He is really angry and becomes more and more protective of Chase. Josh hits Grayson several , Steward seperates them. Grayson just laughs.

When Josh comes back, he finds out that Chase has been kidnapped, when he went picking up a watch. But Chase is chipped (like all the Miller children). For one the kidnappers asked for ransom, but they were also after Chase sperms. Chase is not fighting back ( somehow he is really weak for a Miller...hmm), but is trying to avoid the omegas.
Josh and the others come to rescue in time. Josh beats up the person who left a bruise on Chase's face. He loses his earpiece/plaster during fighting. And Chase notices the mark (he has no idea that it is his mark^^), so now they all know that Josh is an omega.

The bodyguards asks questions, and Isaac gives because the Josh's bond mark.
Also it they all told Josh that Pete looks like his mini-me.
Josh and Chase sleep together again, and now Chase knows that Josh is an omega. Josh tells him, he is the only man he ever slept with, because he only slept with women before (.....and omitted with how many.lol). Chase tell's Josh he wants to kill the person who left that mark on his ear.lol
While filming Chase sees Josh talking (flirting, yes it looks like the with Josh, even Dane mentions it all the time) to an female assistant and gets jealous.
Next that omega Becky appeared again, the one who bothered him at the party, pointing a gun at Chase. Henry who is guarding him get's shot/injured. She is mad because Chase ignored her etc. Chase takes the weapon and points it on his own head when Josh arrives. He pulls the trigger, but Josh is able to get the weapon away in time, so he only get's a scratch.

Chase loves Josh and he is afraid that Josh leaves him, and begs him to stay with him and don't get back together with the child mother (he thinks she is an alpha woman) ... .
Josh tells him he likes Chase because of his face, not because of his pheromones. And that he'll introduce Pete to him

Josh brings Pete to the amusement park Chase rented for that meeting. After some time spent together Josh leaves for a short time. Pete hears a dog and follows. Chase is shocked first because of his trauma, then panics when he sees Pete run away and tries to find him. Chase protected Pete, when Josh find them.
After that Josh finally tells Chase the truth, that he is Pete's other father, that they slept together back them, Chase is afraid he raped him, but he says no. He also tells him that he never slept with a dog, it was to scare him (so he would go to the parties for injections). Josh tells him he loves him, and they want to get married. And Josh made clear that they woould only have another child after they got married.

Next epilogues.
There are Chase, Pete, and Cecil ( their youngest son) are waiting for Josh at the airport to come back from a two month job. Cecil is wearing girls clothes and he and Pete are arguing. They are welcoming Josh back.

That's for the main story, there are extras, two of them continue the story, another one is when Josh presented as an omega.


Chase and his problems with Grayson and his family. To really understand what's going on there, why his family is like this and what's the matter with Grayson, that so far is in the extras of Lick me up if you can (parents story) and in Grayson story. Only saying Grayson is sincere it wanting to help, but there is a massive problem with his way of helping. And Chase grew up with 4 dominant alpha siblings who presented too early ( and one dominant omega brother). One parent ( who unconditionally loved them) was no longer allowed to deal with them at one point and the other had is brain fried and became emotionless, and only loves his partner.:D He tried his best, though.

One extra is when Josh presents as an omega, they are all shocked, because the rest of the family are betas, but one grandmother was an omega.
Josh at that time was the quaterback of his highschool team and pretty popular. He had one girlfriend after another. Later the joined the military and after that became a bodyguard, but that was only mentioned. It ends when he is informed that their next client is Chase Miller.
(So you know Josh lived a promiscuous life (only women... a lot of them) before he got pregnant with Pete. The funny thing is that the other partners of the male Miller siblings that are known are also like that.lol But compare that to virgin Chase.:D)

Sidestory1:

Josh is still Chase's bodyguard. Seeing all the crazy fans waiting for Chase, Josh has fantasies of locking Chase up somewhere, to keep him same and for himself.lol Chase wants to help him when the fans become problematic, but Josh was angry at Chase later. Making clear it's his job and his pheromones are making him dizzy. He punishes him (he develops a shaving fetish...) in a sexual way. Josh is also surprised how little Chase knows about omegas and markings.
Josh considers telling the people around him that he will be getting married to Chase, but is not sure how to break the news to them. The other bodyguards think that Josh is dating someone and are placing bets on the who (Seth bets on C.).

Chase is not taking his medicines regulary, and again starts having problems with pheromones, coughing blood. They consider marking Chase, since omega pheromones are problematic for him, but Steward first wants to try stabilize Chase's pheromone level and for that there should be no omegas around.
So Josh takes a break, he meets Dane and talks to him, that his alpha is off limits. His sister too, but the chances there are next to nill, since Dane would never sleep with Josh and his sister looks like him, and Dane is the opposite of what his sister is interested in. Josh tries to make Dane understand that he is in love and wants to get married, because Dane doesn't believe him first (that's a meeting of two promiscuous guys, but nothing happened between those two ever. lol) and he actually doesn't understand^^. And Dane doesn't believe in love and family (that guy has a massive trauma by the way, if you read Grayson's story you'll find out).
The Josh goes back to Pete, who stays with his mother. He tells his mother and sister that he is in a relationship and wants to get married. His sister is also shocked that he wants to get married.^^ He tells them it's Pete's father and wants to introduce him, but omits the name.
After that he has a reunion with some highschool friends, some of whom he played football with. They actually play fooball then, but suddenly Grayson appears devoid the smiling mask he always wears, grabbing Josh and dragging him away. Josh is unable to get out of his grasp and the other attacking him are nothing to Grayson ( that guy is a monster.:D I mentioned his novel, you find out more there). Josh suddenly asks of it is because of Chase, he would be willing to follow then. And Grayson sets him free.
He complains that Josh turned off his phone, he went to his house to find him. While driving him to Chase (with an broken arm), Grayson explains that Chase went into rut. Chase is in a very bad condition and is refusing everything, only wanting "his omega", so Grayson came to fetch him. He bought a mansion where Steward treats him right now. When Josh asks why he came to fetch him, Grayson says that Chase is his little brother.
Steward explains how serious it is, that the rut could cause braindamage to Chase, because he had memory loss several times in the past. Josh spends the rut with him and marks him, and Chase get better. It worked out, they were afraid that it probably wouldn't. And we see Josh enourmous appetite for food again (it's more like the Sayajins in Dragonball / Luffy in One Piece.:D).

Josh want Chase to meet his sister and mother, he is willing to do it. He hopes Josh will never meet his family.

Sidestory 2
Two weeks? later.
Josh is with Emma and his mother waiting. There is somesome footage on tv about Chase and Emma is talkings in a negative way about him. Later when Chase arrives they are shocked. Emma is suspicious for some time, but the mother is very welcoming. That paparazzi at the beginning of the main story is mentioned, and Chase tells them that it was a special day for him and he wouldn't stop bothering him. The paparazzi goaded him too shoot him if he wanted him to leave him alone.
Chase is blond again, so Pete doesn't recognize Chase. Chase thinks of dyeing his hair again, but Josh is against it. Josh thinks it would be a good idea if Pete and Chase would spend some time alone.

After that Josh tell his bodyguard collegues that he wants to get married. They are surprised, but tell Josh they where suspicous he was dating someone and actually placed bets on the who. After telling them it's Pete's dad he met when they were in Califonoa before, they still don't know who it is. Becasue it's Pete's dad Seth gets unsure about the bet he placed before. When Josh tells them it's Chase Miller they first don't believe him and then are shocked. Seth won all the money.
Chase will spend some time alone with Pete in a shopping center he rented.
Pete likes dog, wants to see the puppies in the animal store, abite his trauma Chase has he goes with Pete. He passes out.
When he regains contiousness Josh is there. Chase explains he wants to give Pete everything he wants, but Josh is against it, since Chase hates dogs so much and Pete need to learn that he won't get everything he wants.
Pete suddenly arrived. He says he doesn't need a dog. If his papa doesn't like dogs, he won't like dogs either. Chase and Josh are shocked, because they didn't tell Pete. Pete explains his grandmotehr told him his other parent is male and would come to him. And he says that he and Chase have the same haircolor, that's why he knew Chase is his papa.
Josh then offers Pete a sibling instead of a dog, which caught Chase's attention, but makes clear they have to get married forst. End.

They had sex several times and so on, in both side stories and in the last third of the main story. So that you at least know.^^

There should be a new sidestory this or next year.

If you actually only want to read Desire me if you can, I can tell you the things you need to know. For that only parts of the two side stories with the children and some background informations about the parents are necessary. But it's up to you.

Nathaniel's story will be realeased on July 16 as a webnovel in korean. Just to correct the lists I made.:D

Connor "Koi" Niles and Ashley Miller met in highschool and fell in love.
Koi lived with his father (he was a beta iirc) who was an alcoholic, so he suffered abuse. They were poor. He was the unpopular and invisible student, a "beta". After an accident he had problems with his nose, he couldn't really smell.
During an assignment he met Ashley, who was the star of the ice hockey team, he was pretty popular. Platinum blond hair, over 2m, still with blue eyes ( he looks like his father). He was the only son of Dominic Miller, an extreme alpha and feared lawyer, the owner of the successful Miller lawfirm. A very rich family, but the family was problematic. Dominic Miller locked up the "omega father" (Ashley "Juliett" Dawson) of Ashley who is of very poor health and disabled. Dominic forced a gamma to mutate to an omega, which is very difficult and also problematic, because it causes massive health problems. At one point his omega father asked Ashley to kill him. Dominic in his novel was used and betrayed by Ashley Dawson. As a result his obsession and taking revenge led him to kidnap Ashley, injured him so he can't run away, turned him into an omega so he can bear him a son and locked him up. ( that's the short version)
Ashley presented and became an extreme alpha.
Koi and Ashley planned to run away, but Koi's father got seriously ill, and he decided stay with his father.
10 years later they met by again chance. Koi became a plumber ( his dream was actually to study astronomy to go into space) and Ashley a lawyer who worked at the family firm.
They got back together. (He thought of taking revenge on Koi for leaving him, but never went through with it.)
Ashley who loved and wanted only Koi, refused to release pheromones with someone else in the past 10 years, no matter what his father tried. So they got rid of his pheromones with injections, as a result his brain was damaged -memory loss, he was unable to feel emotions anymore, with the exception of loving Koi.
Ashley's omega father died, and when that happened Dominic (Ashley hated his father) killed himself, burning down the mansion.
Koi ran into Angel ( Keith Pittman's dominant omega father), who recognized him as a fellow dominant omega (extremely rare and in danger of getting kidnapped and sold to extreme alphas, happened to Angel. They can knock out extreme alphas with their pheromones and can also force their rut). Dominant omegas can recognize each other. Dominant omegas have controle over their pheromones and their scent. If tested the result is beta, only if they release pheromones, are in heat or pregnant they can be identified. Koi wasn't aware of it, couldn't smell his own pheromones. When Koi went into heat and got pregnant, Ashley first thought that he turned Koi into an omega.
At the end they found out that Koi's pheromones have an positive effect on Ashle's health and stopped his brain getting more damaged, as a result Ashley became dependend on Koi, they have to stay together for the rest of their lifes.
Those are the most important things of the main story you need for DMIYC I think.
Next the extras with the children.

Ashley didn't really want children, he was always afraid they turned out like his father and he is extremely possessive of Koi. But Koi wanted a lot of children, little Ashs.
With Nathaniel he was pregnant in the main story, was an accident. When Nathaniel was still small Koi convinced Ashley to have another child, but they got twins (fraternal) Grayson and Stacy. When they were born Grayson's eyes were open, they where violett and he emitted pheromones, he was born manifested. Ashley thought that his sister who had her eyes closed was too, because of the pheromones. (I'm not 100% sure about it, because they are fraternal twins, and Ashley was only concerned about Grayson later). Koi was happy, he now had 3 Ash clones, but Ashley was concerned, at that time Nathaniel also manifested as an extreme alpha. 3 years later Koi wanted another child, and convinced Ashley, Chase was born, after that Larien and then Bliss ( the only dominant omega). 4 of the children had violett eyes before they were 5,. only Chase mainfested late as Ashley. 5 look like Ashley (like Dominic) and Bliss has Ashley's colering, but looks more like Koi. (By the way Koi himself is 180cm, it's just the Millers are giants.)
So the problems started.The children were not really under controle. Koi was too soft, couldn't controle them. They entered his room, played with his clothes (...Ashley buys Koi female clothes, some you wouldn't find in a normal store...adult...cosplaying....). And Chase suffered under Grayson and Stacy's "helping him" like throwing him down the stairs etc. They didn't understand right and wrong, and thought they help him. And the parents couldn't make them understand. Ashley was jealous he forbid Koi to release pheromones with them, and didn't want them to enter their room. But he also was concerned becasue Koi couldn't smell and started to separate them.
At a party where Koi met an very good old friend (Ariel), who was a girlfriend of Ashley during highschool. He introduced the children, Ariel said Nataniel reminded her of Dominic, but Koi said that Grayson is the one Ashley thinks is the most simelar to Dominic.
Something serious happened that made Ashley completly separate Koi from the children and take over raising them. Grayson (who was still under 10 years old) baked a cake, which was spoilt ( detergent?), they were curious if Koi really couldn't smell. Koi ate the cake while they watched, at least Grayson, Stacy and Nathaniel were present. Koi would have died if Ashley didn't come home while the children only watched. Ashley almost strangled Grayson, but he saw Grayson ears twitching/moving, like Koi's when he is exited, that made him stop.
After that Ashley took over raising the children, and Koi did what Ashley said.
His goal was that his children didn't kill anyone and are able to socialize with others.
Koi gave at least some input on Chase getting into acting.
Nathaniel wanted to go to a boarding school.

Epilogue:
Koi (who lives in his own world) still loves his little angels...
Nathaniel took over the lawfirm ( Ashely became a senator) and was called Satan by the press. Grayson caused one scandal after another. Stacy was called a pervert. Larien a con artist, wanted by the FBI.
After Chase they all found their partners with the exception of Grayson.
He suddenly wanted to become a firefigher looking for the love of his life again.
(Grayson allways changes jobs, when he is looking for the love of his life.lol) He doesn't work, but from he other novels we know that he is doing investments, he has for example shares of Keith company. And I think he is actually a lawyer.:D)
