This latest chapter just raised more questions than answers, tbh. Like, how the hell did Jaekyung become a complete asshole as an adult when he experienced almost the same shit like Doc Dan? He knew exactly how horrible it feels to be bullied and abused yet he behaves the same, assaulting and treating other people so bad. Honestly, I ain't buying this back story. Mingwa said that Jaekyung's redemption arc is gonna be good but how come she went with this pathetic back story route? It just came off as an excuse and an easy route in an attempt for a "redemption." Lmao. Anyway... Just a reminder, everyone. Past traumas and bad experiences should NEVER be an excuse for any horrible behavior. That's all.

I kinda wish he grew up middle or upper class so that all his comments he made towards Dan makes sense. Some of the comments he made towards Dan was too ignorant for him to also have grown up poor. “Malnutrition in this day and age”, “how can you live in a place like that”, calling $1000 pocket change… like that doesn’t make sense to me.

Right? As if he isn't familiar with poverty when he used to steal food to survive. He was actually quite luckier than Doc Dan because he had the coach and the coach's mom with him, feeding and nurturing him. Whereas Doc Dan and his grandma was constantly running away from debt collectors all through their lives. Idk but there's just some disconnect. And I don't think anything will redeem his horrible behaviors.

At this point, MC is just beeing too dumb for letting that horrible bastard walk over him and for allowing him do whatever he wants. Stupidly annoying.

He’s so grossly unpleasant and i genuinely don’t understand why this is the standard default for Korean romance as a whole both in BL and straight spaces at least concerning Male Leads. The toxic ML who is changed with love, like I know it’s fiction and a fantasy but it’s genuinely the go to almost exclusively for portraying male love interests and somehow making them seem as the most desirable object of affection simply because they are attractive is at this point nauseating. Even in real life pretty privilege is real, and the world is bad enough as it is I don’t need reminders of it that awful people are always rewarded at every turn.
Wait. Did someone secretly took a photo of them when they were in the bathroom? If you'll check the panel where Luke was doing a facepalm, there was a glare or shine on the window. Damn, I'm scared. I don't want things to get messy.
That's so observant of you stop I'm scared now also it could be, because Luke was a little blurred which gave me a feeling the author REALLY wanted us to see a flash
