While I understand the side characters since they put up with MC for a long period of time, why tf aren't you just straight with him then? U know, how incredibly dense he is and all of you thought that just leaving him alone is the best course of action? I know they don't want to be caught up in the mess but in this dialogue "so that's the reason you blocked me" he literally doesn't understand how a normal person thinks. The MC is dumb but he's practically a saint, all of his invention that probably all of humanity use you all had it for free because he doesn't want to sell it. Who needs enemies when you have "friends" like that.
It's literally edge of ambiguity + eighteen's bed + Sunshine Shower. Heavy on EoA but the characters are like 18's bed and Sunshine Shower. I like the story now but I skipped from 15 to 29 so I skipped all that scene where MC is dumb.

If the incident is planned then there would be no way that ML will be safe once the higher ups at that time found that MC is alive because he's a liability.
