The story is so beautiful. It represented Takase's fears to well. I love how realistic it felt. I love how Takase has this inner desire to take care of Yuuichi and treat him well.
I always get bittersweet butterflies in the bridge scene where Takase wishes for Yuuichi to misattribute fear with love. All he wanted was to be happy and not just have a "satisfactory normal life". On top of that I love how handsome Takase is and how beautiful Yuuichi looks. (▰˘◡˘▰) And Takase is such a green flag.
