EDIT : I'm surprised how the father was portrayed bc in the novel, I don't remember him saying that he loved Lily... He just lived his life as a prince and forgot her, like if she was a one night stand. It wasn't written that he wanted to be the emperor/king for her. But maybe the translation wasn't accurate or his story with Lily is addressed more deeply later.
But I still don't like him bc he has no real excuse for abandoning them (〜￣△￣)〜

Jenette is too obsessed with blood-relationship. She thinks that someone will be loved only bc they share the same blood... And that's so wrong bc (family) love isn't a matter of blood. U don't need to share the same blood to be considered as family and ppl of the same blood can hate each other (like Claude and his brother).

She thinks that only Claude and Athy can fill the emptiness in her heart but wtf Claude was clearly cold towards her before his amnesia and yeah Athy is gentle with her but I didn't forget that in OG!timeline, she let Athy be executed and forgot her easily after.... She was so obsessed about being loved that she hurt others without realizing and it's the same in this timeline (even if Athy will not be executed). And I hate it when a character bring pain to others only for their own happiness AND doesn't realize it :(

In a sense, she also takes advantage of Claude's amnesia to be close to him (without his amnesia, she would never be able to be near the royal family except at tea parties with Athy I suppose). And I didn't forget that she didn't give a fuck that she literally stole Athy place while she was in a runaway... (●￣(ｴ)￣●) Like wtf girl, the king suddenly doesn't give a fuck about her daughter who is your friend and u r sipping tea with him like nothing ?? I think that she will be happy if Athy-Claude-Her are like a family but if it's just her and Claude, she will look fine too (like in the OG!timeline). She doesn't see Athy like a real sister but like a friend, she is principally interested in having a father figure

But yeah, fundamentally she is not a bad person and just a kid in need of love. And I know that she will have a character development but it's soooo frustrating bc it's too angsty for Athy and Claude... AND SHE IS TAKING ALL THE SCREENTIME (╯°Д °)╯╧╧

Her original personality is too boring... I’m dropping this bc the FL isn’t a strong FL like I thought, she obtains things only bc of the bracelet but there is no real development in her character. I don’t mind cheating power/object when the MC is using them with their own strength/intelligence. But in this case, it’s like the MC is being manipulated by the bracelet so she is not being herself. If it’s not the MC who get her revenge on ppl who deserves this or getting badass with her own personality, I don’t want this ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
