I think it's probably gonna be a thing we're their parents got married but they both already had kids from a previous marriage and remarried when the kids were pre teen/teens. So they aren't biologically related and don't really have that "brotherly bond" and don't consider themselves "family"
I think your mistaking half brothers with step brothers. Step siblings have different parents. Half siblings either have the same mom or same dad.
No I know the difference. I'm saying I think they are step brothers instead of half brother and it was a translation mistake. Bc they look nothing alike and usually in manwha siblings have at least same eye or hair color. I might be wrong but that's just what I'm guessing. It's a common enough trope for me to speculate
