it’s a really scary situation to be in for both of them and i think the artist is handling it really well !!when someone you know is being abused and you know you need to report it, they tell you not to. in the long run it helps but part of you feels like you’re betraying them and they would probably hate you for it. reporting it is insanely important and the right thing to do. being a bystander is equivalent to doing the harm
because not saying anything is silently agreeing to it.
