i still despise the mom. selfish people like that just don't get my sympathy. her being-nice-for-a-moment doesn't make up for clearly not taking an interest in her son for all of his life. there is a way to show you love someone (even if you're poor/busy/over-worked), and she certainly never did that. but waki x kami will definitely be happy no matter what, whether she's in their lives or not. <3
