I hecking love this one. The moment last chapter dropped with good translation I went to re-read the entire thing.
I forgot how Goofy was Taeju was from the begging. We love domestic gangsters.
And the fact that he ACTUALLY felt bad and was on his knees asking for forgiveness (not like in " Limited run" for example - cuz I felt like he didn't suffer enough? Idk!? I needed more there tbh)
But here we can tell how genuine he was and it was not rushed. We saw him struggling with guilt.
For me, best "redemption arc" (or whatever u call it). Cuz we have characters is bl who shot their significant other and tossed them around the bed for a week or so chained up and never said sorry. So that's refreshing to see character reflecting on their actions and actually apologizing and feeling remorse for what they've done.
I don't like this red flag black flag characters (too r@ppy everything nowadays and not like 1 time thing - but the whole plot *looking at jinx and other like that ew*) but nowadays I'm finding myself to be Taeju And Cirrus apologist.
So I love my goofy delulu Taeju. And IF!!! we forget {collectively} what happened like at the beginning... like lil amnesia... He would be perfect.
