Nevertheless I like this kind of story, even if some of the things doesn't make sense.
On chapter 2, when the guy mentioned about mock battle, the girl said she would to watch it, basically it's mean she know what mock battle is.
But then, on chapter 3, when platoon leader mentioned mock battle, the girl doesn't have any idea what it is....

In the tea meeting he mentioned mock battles as in between platoons/units which are usually scheduled simulation battles between 2-3(?) platoons but in Ch 3 the platoon leader mentioned mock battle tournaments that's why I think it made sense for her to ask.

Well honestly, if I compare this story with others with similar ideas, this one is by much more boring with the flow of story that can’t seems to keep you to immerse in it.
But I love dresses, designs, and pretty things, so Imma still stick to this.
I love the magic concept for the FMC and tho she seems a bit of an airhead she is socially smart but yeah I agree the story overall is kinda boring

We were talking that there was a manga we cant remember the title of, and have similar story with this one, but already completed, so kinda confused if it was actually this manga or a different manga.
If I remember correctly, the completed one I read is that Uke took the legend story and included them in his new novel, and he make some change to the story so it have a happy ending where the Dragon doesn't need to take the bride into the spring. In the novel he wrote, after hundreds of years, finally the Dragon found the one he loved more than anything and....(honestly, I kinda forgot what it was, I'm not sure if they prayed to higher God to bless the Dragon so he can become a human to accompany the bride, or so the Dragon doesn't need to take the bride into the spring and still live happily with the bride until the bride's last breathe)
Well, anyway.....
When the novel was out, some people criticized it because it seems lame or something, but some love it because the story seems bittersweet, but that's exactly what Uke wanted. No matter if it's negative or positive opinion, now there're lots of people know about the (renewed)Legend, and because of different opinion, they will keep debating on it. To debate on it, people would research on the origin of the Legend, and etc etc. People would prefer the changed version(happy ending) rather than the old version(kinda tragic).
Now that a lots of people have this story in their minds, a real change start to happened here and there, and so Uke, Seme, and friends realized that the novel is affecting them. So now, their problem are solved.
Ok, so those stories above is what I tried hard to remember. And I still don't know what's manga is that.
But then, it is impossible to be this manga because the 2nd volume is not even out yet.....

When the art changed at earlier chapter around the 10s chapter, it seems the story also turned weird/not good, but I though it would get better... I keep going until passed the 20s chapter where finally arrive at the chapter where the LeLeDuck guy bang ZhangYang with a car just because of his fucking petty feeling/reasoning that doesn't make any sense and a provocation of that other fucking bitch...
the story definitely gone down the drain.... I stop reading it right there at that moment and went straight to comment this. Not gonna read this anymore, even though at first it got interesting plot and have promising future development, but in the end the story turn to the same old story as those other Chinese webtoon with jerk male characters and stupid female character....
If it makes you feel any better, Le Dong and Zhang Yang planned everything together- they planned that Le Dong would go with that snobby model and that he would get evidence against her wrong doing (and now she's in a mental hospital). So, that car accident was planned between the two of them.
But yes, I do agree that the plot isn't that great. So much drama over nothing, but I have seen much worse.
