Enjoyed everything in the story! It’s hilarious, fun, and cute. I love the couple
One nitpick i had was when leo thought the boy was a girl and didn’t want him to fight because “a girl shouldn’t..” do this and that and “it puts your cute face to shame” as if cute girls can’t or shouldn’t fight.
But anyway that was his past and I think Leo did change his view based on how he saw Takeru’s sister. Uzuki was just viewed as a cute girl but can fuckin fight. Like, heck yeah girl!
They were so cute and I’m glad he owns up to his past mistakes to move on. But I definitely think the non-con scene was unnecessary. The attempted r*** wasn’t addressed again and the fucking glasses dude didn’t get to face the consequences after. I just wish they handled that sensitive topic properly. The rest of story was still cute tho
As much as we’re left with a cliffhanger, the misunderstanding wasn’t as frustrating for me since the reason isn’t ‘petty’ (I’ve read enough bl with that troupe it drained me)
Haru’s dealing with some serious inferiority complex but isn’t ready to face it yet when asked. Hence, being avoidant and it leading the miscommunication.
Also, Aki confessing straight up and Haru not getting it relatable. This is a common thing with queer ppl? I had a close friend straight up saying ‘i like you’ but I just thought she was joking bc she’s usually the flirty type and I couldn’t tell the difference lol. So haru being so oblivious is not that unrealistic
192 people did / 392 want to do
If it was allowed in my religion, I’d be covered with it! Would love to get my art on my skin permanently. Getting lots of piercings for now
I really like this. The layout is just 6 panels and short pages. And yet every chapter really makes you feel things. It’s fun and light, with a touch of melancholy too. The pacing is slow and I like that it’s taking its time to progress the relationship between the two
I’m curious what’s it’s all about since these mangas/anime are considered as classics in bl. I’ve only read until vol 2 and so far the story is pretty interesting? It has the nostalgia from the early 00’s. Not liking the casual sexual harassment obviously (early bl troupes are wild) Tho I’m still interested to the manga plot-wise! Like I’m really curious how the characters relationship will develop here. But from the recent comments about them, I feel like I wanna wait until this ends
The story was well made, all the callbacks that made sense as the pieces were put together in the later chapters. It’s funny, wholesome, and heart wrenching when it needs to. Loved the main character! Maybe we could’ve explored more lore about angels being gods and how Taker experienced it.
I was also hoping we’d get to see sooho’s friend jia and her perspective like hyunwoo. Because we spent a lot of time hinting at their past and how she would react once sooho tells her everything bc she’s his dearest friend. We didn’t get to see all that process, only the aftermath that- ‘yeah sooho sees ghosts and has an angel as a lover apparently’. But that’s just a nitpick.
The story is still so good! I bawled my eyes near the end like damn
I love how them trying to ‘do it’ went horribly. Because that’s how it works irl. Your first isn’t going to be amazing. Usually mainstream bl semes say they don’t have experience and then be suddenly an expert with their first time.
This one was realistic and healthy at portraying it.
Second thing I like is when Kiichi found out about Ren’s past and didn’t shame him for it. Ukes in mainstream bl who’s ‘experienced’ usually are just treated as wh*res. I was worried at first when he left the bar without saying anything but turns out he just felt embarrassed that he’s still inexperienced
I’m so happy that the first thing Taehyuk do was worry for Hyo-un just right after witnessing two guys blow up infront of him. No wonder hyo un was desperate for his mate in the present time, he was his safe place
