There were some small details in the first half of the story that Fukami may have some sort of the feeling towards Kaji (like when he went to Kaji’s house, when he slept on the Couch looking at Kaji sleeping in his bed), happened before Kaji decided to f*ck everything up by bringing other guy to his house and regretted later. Then after Fukami’s accident, it seems to me that the author kinda changes the story’s direction back to zero and makes Kaji pursuing Fukami seriously with Fukami become the doubting one instead of Kaji.

Just a simple word makes me cry so hard.

Talking about the dynamic of these two, it was Hikaru who falls first. I think we’re starting to see Shinobu developing his feeling for Hikaru more in volume 2 (like, Hikaru is too cute I wanna see him get spoiled with love). Hikaru also becomes aware of Shinobu’s thinking and trying to adjust himself with him. I don’t blame people who dislike Shinobu but we can just wait to see his developement in this relationship. I love Niyama-sensei’s works, so thank you very much for the upload.

I remember reading the first couple of episode when this story came out and was thinking “ah, here’s another story of toxic good-looking ML” and dropped it. Then I came back to see if there’s any character developement of him yet. ………..Apparently, still none.
