i went into this thinking it was just going to be one of those over-the-top type of sexual couple where the seme is an asshole sadist and the uke is just a weak-ass whiny uke... BUT WAS I WRONG!!! this took the enemy to lovers trope to whole other level. i never expected Kairi (top) to be a really caring type of guy that would even consider having Rio (bottom) to join him and his friends for lunch because he felt sorry for how Rio was always alone due to rumors about vampires going after virgins etc etc. I loved how Kairi would always still put up with Rio's stubbornness because Kairi could relate to what it was like being alone. Kairi being able to relate to Rio ended up creating such a beautiful relationship to blossom because Rio ended up learning that Kairi was just a big softy. Such a lovely relationship and I am so glad it didn't turn into one of those cringe master-slave type of stories that most yaoi tend to adhere to. I love this story so much, I will most likely come back to re-read it again because of how much I love this couple and the art.
