I'm sorry but I'm a lil confused. What exactly did he lie about?

Jonny lied about his mother being alive and shifted his backstory forward to have a better alibi.
In Chapter 3 Jonny said he left his "old mother in the southern part of llanuras of dout" -> this means he was claiming his mom was alive
Then in chapter 11, Jonny goes into the backstory that took place '3 years prior', about his mom being sick and them getting tricked by the doctor who gave the mom opium not medicine. Which resulted in Jonny killing the doctor and then 'going on the run'
The background check Calahan had his buddy do, led him to Jonny's mom's grave (who had died 10 years prior). This means he lied in Chapter 3 about his mom being alive and about the timeline in Chapter 11. However, Calahan is taking this as 'you are a liar and therefore nothing you say is believable.' Even though, as Jonny pointed out, he had a g*n to his head and didn't have much choice But, Calahan seems to be taking the act of being lied to personally.

I think the MC is just being a little unreasonable. The ML made it crystal clear about the boundaries he set in relation to his work and private life from the beginning. The MC was aware of all of this and to suddenly ask him to quit the part of his job where he's making the bulk of his money all because of his mistrust is kinda crazy . The MC needs to have a little more faith in his partner and communicate cause if the ML didn't picked up on what he was thinking those thoughts would have been eating him up and further burden their relationship.

But ML said he doesn’t care about money or anything when he’s doing the sex part so he’s not doing it for money. So why can’t he quit that part? He is the top performer in stripping and earns enough, MC asked for a reason and was shut off. You can’t build trust if your other partner won’t help build trust, both need to communicate.
Wait so psychologically he's only attracted to straight men? ╥﹏╥ If they were gay he wouldn't feel anything? That's so rough. You're bound to be discontented
I feel like he’s more attracted to the idea of a normal relationship with a male based on how he reacted in that scene when they were running. He’s clearly heavily influenced by the views of the people around him and wishes that he could experience the same things that occur in hetero relationships despite being attracted to men as a man.
