This story needs less sex scenes dawg like from talking about his horrific self harm scars to a boob job is insane.
This author has such a horrible issue with writing boundaries especially cause none of her character except our main guy respects em.
The author treats sexual assault as like a silly fight rather than a horrific crossing of one boundaries. Like Adrian crosses the boundaries forces him so many times Kyle even punched him at one time but he ignored and kept going. You could say "but Kyle hasn't left him so it's mutual" while yes Kyle still loves him even now (even doe he def shouldn't) it's just because the author doesn't seem to understand the gravity of the actions their characters are doing. Or maybe they find it hot or smth. Idk dawg all ik is that its weird and has sullied their relationship.
100% agree! and idk why Kyle hasn't left his ass already.. but like you said, it's the author's doing!
Now the main story, it was literally just fluff but somehow I enjoyed it a lot and it kept me a engaged than a lot of stories with similar fluffiness maybe it's cause the characters were more endearing and didn't just feel like archetypes that did nothing than spout predictable dialouge and the drama that was there wasn't the classic predictable issues with misunderstandings but very enjoyable adorableness. The main couple were affectionate and very open and It felt more like I was reading a story book which was nice.
It didn't overstay its welcome as well told their relationship, fixed the brothers relationship and was cute and loving and left. Perfectly paced and sweet realistically affectionate relationships.
Overall 8.6/10 mainly cause it was just fluff
Wow a story where they handle the bro-con troupe well I've never seen it before. The brother not only acknowledged what he was doing and his behaviour was weird and wrong but he decided to change and as we can see has changed.
Not only that, having luca around was so clutch causd I was fearing it might be incest but the fact the brother could and can date other people and love them shows he literally jusr suffered from something that caused extreme protectiveness. I'm guessing it's cause their parents weren't around that much, they are not bad parents per say but when they saw their kids were depending on each other they assumed "ah that's better than them crying all over us" and let their dependent bond continue. The older brother seemed to for a depency on his younger brother for affection and love that the parents just didn't give enough of.
Trully just a lot of things culminating into the situation that they had.
I'm just happy the author went around it I a good way having characters call out his behaviour and having him reflect and realise just how obsessive he was being. And his boyfriend luca was so sweet.
They are one of the cutest most healthiest couples it seems.
I actually really am enjoying this plot. I'm like actually engaged maybe it's cause it's no longer just sex scene after sex scene but I can see the author truly can write a good story. While expanding the two's relationship and individual personality
