you know what i'm sooo angry about aside from the fact that eungyo can't even man up AND JUST TELL SUNWOO HOW HE FEELS???? it's the fact that sunwoo guessed what eungyo really wanted BUT HIS SUPPOSED BROTHER AND SUPPORT SYSTEM MAKES IT SEEM LIKE HE'S DELUSIONAL. i don't think the point of this backstory is for us to pity him and like him bc of it but rather to add a bit of context how he became so shitty and problematic. it's a realistic portrayal of how we become the monsters we hate the most.
however, that being said, i also can't look past the fact that he literally abused dan, who was also struggling. in a real situation dan should probably stay away from him and file a restraining order but since they're the leads of a manhwa (which means they DO end up together), then he's gotta do more than just chase and actually build a bond centered on love and understanding (as ridiculous as this sounds to me)
