Take the detective seriously, he's a lot more reliable when it comes to your brother. You know the lawyer was already a suspect in a murder, and has had many suspicious suicides happening around him. Why won't you keep your brother near you at a delicate time like this??
Also, she has to be the one to kill the lawyer with her own hands. He is a lowlife pos himself, manipulating a minor to stop taking prescribed meds and then psychologically torturing him. He is going to kill her brother, no doubt, if he gets the chance. There's a high possibility that he erased the evidence from the pedo's laptop and kept the only copy on his drive, just so she is reliant on him to do everything.
Why did these 2 not work out in the first timeline? I need to know. I assume the ballsack crown prince killed himself in the 1st one, which is why he remembers it?

They did work things out in the end but had tests in their marriage. Ines doesn’t remember the full first timeline. She’s just basing her hasty conclusion on a mere few memories she received so far. However, it is true that Ines was an extremely difficult wife to Carcel in the first timeline while Carcel tried his hardest to work with her to make their marriage work.
lydia was so jaded she feared for her own neck while HER DAUGHTER WAS BEING EXECUTED BEFORE HER EYES. She was an abuser. Using the quintessential manipulative techniques "what's so bad about me marrying you off? Would I do anything bad for you?" and basically using her daughter as a pawn. And then not being grateful that she was still helping and protecting you. And hoping to save herself/fearing she would be ratted out. Jesus christ she used to be bad, no wonder she is full of self-loathing and guilt. Even her redemption is because lyrica turned back time with her powers.
I love grey characters like lydia, and I love that the story isn't giving us another 'seems to be evil but is actually the nicest exploited villainess'. She was horrible, and she deserves to actually suffer for her mistakes. She hasn't redeemed herself by atoning, all she is doing is the decent parenting she should have been doing all along.
The good news is she does show serious remorse and self-loathing, unlike all the other horrible fathers who just need their daughter to be taken over by another adult for them to come love their kids.
This, this is it. This is what i was reading for. Hallelujah, praise the gods. Make this child molester suffer to the end of his days, so much so that he wishes he died by her hands. And hopefully kiseong finds some catharsis and healing, and goes to therapy after this.
I also love how the FL has been slowly finding her spine, not letting the other teacher harass her, to straight up protective mama bear for her brother.

who kept bootlicking rowena, he cannot be the ML. Nope. I like this blue eyes dude more, he is just as twisted and neurotic as she is, he would be great as the ML.
