Do they not realise that they don't need the unconditional support of coworkers for their personal affairs? That others don't actually have a right to judge you like that?
If you let gossip affect your work to that extent, you aren't a very balanced adult to begin with. I understand that in asia, minding your own business isn't exactly what people do, but people are not as harsh and unfair, and if you're scared of every contrary comment people might make, you might as well stop making decisions of your life.
I mean, i'm all for the romantic fluff, but the way jaewoo consoled and comforted suhyun is just goals. He understood suhyun's position, empathised with his troubles at young age, and just gave him a giant hug. I wish i had someone who would encourage me just like that when i'm down. I get the plot is usual shoujo, with a pretty ex girlfriend who he spends time with, but i love the way she dealt with him. She didn't cry, chase after him, get insecure, blame herself and then forgive him way too quickly. I like that she didn't roll over when he said two words of apology when he didn't meet her expectations, and was petty enough to hold a grudge for this long. A girl with some self-respect would do that, and that is such a nice change from typical shoujo, who don't know the difference between self-respect and tsundere
