Jihyun is a manipulative, abusive asshole. He's possessive & mentally unstable.
That being said, no one deserves to go to jail for a crime they were wrongly accused of. Period. The punishment he's receiving ISN'T. GOING. TO. TEACH. HIM. ANYTHING if he's being thrown in jail for something that never applied to him.
That's why Jihyun comes out of prison and is STILL a manipulative, abusive asshole. Because he was taught a lesson that fixed a nonexistent circumstance.

There is a huge difference between liking Jihyun as a person, & liking him as a character. I HATE him as a person... but the fact that the author can make me feel afraid of him is what makes me like him as a character.
