The art is so pretty, but omg Ryuu is so fucking terrible. I know he was honest from the start about his preference, but why does he get jealous when Koharu jokes about cheating on him, but it's somehow okay for him to do it with Madoka?! Thats your ex-wife, IT'S CHEATING.
I was really hoping the MC would have some other guy in her life, but her role ends up being some kind of after thought even though he supposedly has "special feelings" for her. Those are not special feelings, he just wants to own her cus he has some weird fucked up obsession with her. Like when he told Joe that Koharu "isnt enough for me" I was so annoyed, MC should have clocked out months ago?????
I felt like the MC did not grow much at all either. In the end she still ran back to him even after all the drama of asking him for a divorce.
UGH im so annoyed. the writing could have played out so much better. The ending could have been better...wish someone could rewrite the ending or something cus it sucks. (╬￣皿￣)凸

YES and she lost her best trait. at the start she was so badass and independent acting like she could never be tied down and played around with. but now that she let herself fall onto him, it's like she's begging and always doubting herself. the guy's acting so different now that he has koharu, the complete opposite when he was still trying to win her. and its so annoying
ughhh yes!! I was really hoping that by taking care of Yuzu's baby, it made her start realizing her weaknesses and then want to grow from it. But it did absolutely nothing.
What also pissed me off is when he got mad at her for trying to look thru his phone and then he ends up basically raping her in the kitchen. And then we find out that he was hiding the fact that he was still in contact with Madoka and ends up cheating on Yuzu and Koharu later with Madoka smh.
I though Madoka was going to move on, i felt that was a good end to her storyline, but they made her look so weak and pathetic in the end. The only strong one in this entire story is Yuzu tbh.
Koharu should have moved to Tokyo, raised Ryuu's baby on her own after finding her own independence again and then get married to a guy loves her much more than Ryuu. And then years later have Koharu let her son/daughter meet Ryuu once since he is the father and make Ryuu feel super regretful after. But she's moved on and Ryuu still hasn't.
Basically i just want Ryuu to suffer forever (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
YES HE NEEDS TO SUFFER. i also thought madoka was fully out of the picture, but she had to come right back. id really like it if koharu becomes tired of everything and realizes shes meant for something else, FOR SOMEONE ELSE and leave the harekon to pursue a career or something and then meet some guy and make ryuu settle his feelings. i just want koharu out of there basically, and live a life where she doesnt have to worry about other women with the man she loves
ah I couldn´t see her as badass or whatever from the start. I mean, she´s ended up in this ridiculous setup because she was running away and because she only wanted an easy way out and not because her intentions were so pure

Chapter 40 starts out with Aseph and LJ still holding the knife. He goes stiff and asks, “...What did you just say?” LJ uses this chance to take the knife away from him. “Give it to me. It’s dangerous...” But she shakes her head and throws the knife out the window behind her.
Aseph pulls her wrist again and asks again, “Zay, What did you say?!” But LJ is trying to avoid his eyes. “Tell me! what did you just say!?” he shouts. She pulls away from his grasp and doesn’t answer, but instead begins to untie the knot on her dress. Aseph is confused and shocked as to why she’s removing her top. “What are you doing? Are you insane?!” he tries stopping her, but she just looks up at him shaking.
She reveals the green seal on her chest to him and he’s at a loss for words.
[[You are someone who bears a seal?]]
Aseph is completely distraught after finding out the truth.
“This is a seal” LJ confesses, finally.
“You don’t have to tell me (I know what it is)...” Aseph is covering his face when he says this.
He places his thumb over her seal pressing/rubbing into it. His face is angry/pissed.
[[Should I dig/cut it out?]] His hands are shaking. (the transl. says “shall we dig?” lmao so i'm assuming this is what he’s saying)
“God damnit…SON OF A BITCH!!” He shouts and he’s completely lost his composure at this point. (BTW I don’t think he was calling her a bitch, but just cursing out of anger.)
“Aseph..” she holds onto his trembling fist, “I’m sorry... I’m sorry I lied to you.”
“Did you always know?” he asks, still shaking in anger.
“I’m sorry...I love all the moments that I’m with you so I kept it hidden. I should have quit when I knew I could not be with you forever...I’m so sorry.” LJ is also scared and shaking at this point.
He doesn’t say anything at first and instead re-ties the knot on her dress to cover herself up. He dusts off his jacket (it fell to the floor during this fiasco lol) that she was wearing and places it back on her shoulders.
“Don’t get me wrong. This does not mean I’ve forgiven you…” he finally speaks, but she does not say anything. “I feel like I’m being played in your hands right now..”
LJ starts crying even more, and starts apologizing over and over again, but he’s not having it.
“Don’t apologize. Hearing it does not make me feel any better. How dare you...saying that you don’t love me?” he says.
LJ is hysterically crying and weeps,“I have a seal, but you don’t have one! That’s why…. My heart has a deadline... Someday it (my feelings) will disappear like a bubble...my heart...”
Aseph is speechless.
“I love you so much... you’re more important than my own life. I heard that the heart will break into pieces one day and disappear without a trace.” (uhhh i’m not sure if she’s talking about her own heart or his heart lol)
“How can I do that? How can I...when you say you love me…”
“So?...” he interjects. (I think it’s more like so what are you trying to tell me…? Or pressing for her to continue..)
“I like you...I love you too,” she finally says.
The next panels are silent with LJ burying her face into his chest (still crying) as he holds her. Aseph still looks upset, but it’s obvious that he’s forgiven her.
“I’m sorry...I’m sorry for hurting you Aseph.” she weeps, but he holds her closer telling her not to cry.
“The day turned out to be a mess, but I’m happy..” (uhh??? not sure about this translation cus it was worded weird sorry i tried lol)
The chapter ends with her father barging out of the ballroom shouting at them, “Aseph, you really!!...How dare you with my daughter!!”
