i just have to say this but like ueno got pushed off as a yuki replacement. he was supposed to help mafuyu heal but as the series went on he just drifted away from that cause then they just did a full circle where they went to the same place yuki and mafuyu went. like i hoped ueno and mafuyu took the time to talk. and obviously ofc in the beginning it’s easy to compare him to yuki i mean he was mafuyus person but it just lasted even until the end. i wish they focused uenos character on helping him heal in a way that doesn’t come back to yuki. i wish they built more on uenos character. don’t get me wrong i still love given with all my heart (not akihiko i still don’t really like him) but i just wish the author did ueno better. like everything was compared to yuki. even most of the fandom just go on comparing him to ueno it just pisses me off
