The plot of this story is so unique, it’s never been done before. I love the fact that she decided to give up all her material wealth and the superficial world she lived in before after losing her parents. It is partially because she carries guilt and believes her parents death was her own fault, but it’s also because she realizes how privileged and entitled it made her in the end (like checking in into every hotel just to receive attention and care from her parents). So, when you realize how warped your perception of reality has become through your privileged lifestyle and then the only thing that mattered at the end is gone (your family), it ends up being an eye opener for her. She disregards the old world of hers because it did not simply matter as much as having her parents. It didn’t mean anything to her and ultimately makes her feel only more guilty for living lavishly when she feels responsible for their deaths, needing to punish herself somehow. The author is a great writer. This needs to become a K-drama!!
i never wanted gren dead. recovering from an addiction quite literally will make u a difficult person to be around bc of the withdrawals. sure he may have not been a great person at ALL times but he also has a past with many scars like shin. he didn’t deserve to die. imagine losing ur only family growing up in a world of deviousness and selfish fucks. that was his brother damn ┗( T﹏T )┛

while the phone scene came out of nowhere and felt like a way to hook the gooners quickly before they leave and get uninterested (sad but true reality behind these writings etc), i wonder if taejeong actually never had a partner before bc then they would’ve also seen the ghost if they touched… but then again his friend hugged him and he didn’t mention anything
wait you’re so real. imagine thinking you’re getting your freak on with some baddie and the minute he touches you you see a fucking ghost i’d die
