There's always been an odd number of judges and yet it was a tie between Kurokiba and Hayama during the Autumn Elections. It could happen. In fact I want it to happen. I don't think Souma should win against Tsukasa on his own. He won against Nene for a miscalculation in her part, and he won against Saito by training all night with Mimasaka and using the techniques he'd learned from every shokugeki he'd ever had. He shouldn't be at the level to take on Tsukasa on his own. It would ruin it for me because Souma's strength as a character is the fact that he is basically a food idiot, he looses and gets back up. He is not OPd like so many other shonen leads or like Tsukasa is. Their teamwork, which is what the regimental showgirl is about, hasn't really shined yet (except for some glimmer during the 3rd round). I think that's what's going to be the focal point of the last round: a 2-1 against Tsukasa who is the veritable Last Boss at this stage.
