from what i got out of that here’s what i think they were trying to say:
senpai’s fiance from the future was originally his elder sister’s fiance. due to the sister’s murder, senpai and the fiance a hard time and bonded over the loss, then became lovers to getting married. since doi travelled back in time and will save senpai’s sister, the sister and fiance will be able to remain a couple and then senpai and doi will become lovers.
