Can I ask why the thing about the two friends is causing such a mess here? I mean, can someone explain me why?
I mean, chanyoung's actions can be a bit selfish, but I don't think that they are unrealistic or meant to hurt. Did I miss something? I just don't see much evil in his actions

Also, anyway we try to put it, there's no way to reject a person without hurting them, that's how it works. Sometimes people reject straight out, sometimes they fake having a bf/gf, sometimes they ignore and sometimes they insult or avoid the person...
I don't know, I just think there's not really any way to make it hurt less... I mean, Chanyoung had the suspect that Heesu had feelings for him, but that doesn't mean he was 100% sure. He couldn't have gone to him and said "you like me right?". If Heesu had not been gay at all, that would've hurt their friendship a lot...
I just don't know what to think ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

I see what you're saying her, but don't think it's applicable to this specific situation between Heesu and Chanyoung. There isn't a way to make it painless, but there IS a way to MINIMIZE the pain through a sincere, gentle rejection. There is a difference between what Chanyoung did and what you describe, he didn't just "pretend he had a gf", he went out of his way to get with many women, introduce each of them to Heesu and then purposely ignore Heesu while he had these gfs. He was consciously trying to hurt Heesu by flaunting his straightness here. "hey look at how straight i am, you have no chance". It's cruel. He's dragging out the rejection this way and because of the way he's going about rejecting him, Heesu doesn't even know he's being rejected. Because Heesu doesn't know he's being rejected he's still got that tiny bit of hope and it's causing him to not look at others. He needs closure. Basically, instead of minimizing the damage, he's maximizing it through a slow, painful rejection that Heesu can't even pick up on, all the while Heesu is wheathering all the pain because of his tiny hope. When he's rejected properly he'll be able to start the process of looking at Chanyoung as JUST a friend, instead of that tiny hope that makes him fanboy about him all the time. Assuming he doesn't cut ties with Chanyoung once he realizes that Chanyoung had been hurting him on purpose to get him to give up.

Ah ok, I get it. I hadn't thought of that way.
I've always found it hard to see if a person had a crush on me without confessing, maybe that's why the only option that I thought as less painful was taking having a bf... I am just a little bit unsure about what I would've done in Chanyoung situation because Heesu didn't confess to him and homosexuality (sadly) is still a delicate topic, so you can't out a person just to reject them

This might be too personal, but are you young? You can't read facial expressions, pick up on vocal cues or read body language to tell when someone is into you? They usually end up being pretty obvious. You said "i'm unsure what i would've done in Chanyoung's situation since he didn't confess", in Chanyoung's case he KNOWS Heesu likes him. No need for a confession. Obviously if you weren't sure that they like you romantically then confronting them would be weird, but that isn't what we're talking about. The situation is that he already knows for sure. As far as "outing him to reject", of course not! You NEVER out someone. You take them somewhere where you can talk alone, open up with something like "i need to talk seriously with you" so they aren't caught off guard, tell them that "you think they might be interested in you as more than just good friends, but that you can't see them that way" (feel free and fine tune this however you'd like) while making yourself VERY clear that they are an important friend and you don't want to lose that friendship. Done. This MAY be followed by some necessary distance if they ask for it, but other than that just treat them normally.
But actually, if the father goes away and Golem's body disappears, wouldn't that mean that the soul is free from that fake body? Wouldn't that mean that he can reincarnate?
And Calen, once he pays for his sins, would reincarnate as well and then we get my fav plot: DESTINED LOVERS!
My heart can rest after reading your comment!! (▰˘◡˘▰) volume2 sound so interesting already!
