Unique plot doesn't have to be stories with entirely new features introduced, it could just be an addition made to the preexisting genres/themes too. Personally would say 'The broken ring, this marriage will fail anyways', it's a regression theme but done in a pretty unique way(novel readers would know), the theme not being my favourite but since......
