i get that they're trying to emphasize Lippe's genuises and cuteness, but dragging this as a kid for sooooooooo loooong, as a reader, i cant help but get so jaded (and starting to think of the whole thing as "exaggerated")

I know that these events may contribute to the real plot in the future but can they do so while she ages bit by bit ??
