this argument is so ridiculous … so let me break it down for ya !! a 15 year old is a teenager . on average, they’ve just entered highschool, are probably going through puberty, and have barely experienced the world outside of school and some activities with parents/friends at 18, they’ve typically finished highschool and are prepared to enter the world as a young adult . (in the US, they’re considered an adult.) a relationship between a 15 year old and an 18 year old is somewhat WEIRD, especially if one just graduated middle school and one is in college and working while also having their own apartment . an 18 year old and a 22 year old are at least grown adults (in the US) and likely have at least experienced what it’s like to grow from a teenager to an adult . while it’s not illegal for a 15 and an 18 year old to date (in some US states and possibly overseas) it’s still weird and somewhat taboo to many . like it if you want, sure, but it’s weird to me ! what kind of 18 year old thinks “oh yeah, i want that 15 year old teenager that i’m in a different life stage than …”
also if we’re keeping the same 3 year age gap, it would be 18 and 21 btw …
it states in the last panel of chapter one that he’s 18 and the other is 22. it also shows in chapter one that he got a part time job which can only be had at 18 in japan. so i think it has them at 18 and 22. because the last panel never says anything about a timeskip and shows a drawing of the bottom when he was 18 which is not anymore.

the ending felt a little rushed and i can’t say i’m too happy w it … wdym his “monstrous form” is him with dark skin and his super handsome form his him with pale skin, blonde hair and light eyes … even if his monstrous form was actually because of some grotesque disfigurement or features, it’s pretty fucked to make his monster form skinned …
nonetheless i’m glad they ended up together, that was actually a pretty sweet ending
