sure the 2nd couple's story had a more compelling plot but even the author admitted that they had no intentions of redeeming Seonwoo and that they were pushed to continue by the producer. mb thats why i personally didn't really feel much in terms of 'character development' from him...bc it was mostly an afterthought lmao like yeah first couple's story felt kinda bland in comparison, but at least the characters were likeable honestly I just feel like Tae-seo deserved more love bc both stories wouldn't be shit wo him if Seonwoo was set up w literally any one else, the second couple would not be getting as much praise as it is rn. that's how hard that XL himbo carries this story

even though it's around a BL couple the story feels mostly BL adjacent. Like yes it's abt the two boys, but author put it best in ch30 in that it's definitely more of a coming of age story. like even tho the side stories concern their relationship, they're more about how they're dealing w the experience than actually depicting it (as one might expect from side chs).

can't imagine how conflicted ml is feeling rn. I mean yay for development but mc's actions are probably super confusing especially considering ml only recently decided to try and get over him for good
like i get that it's mc's "jump first" personality (idk maybe I missed smth) but he didn't even know ml's feelings towards the 'person' he mentioned that he liked, let alone consider the thought that maybe ml might not be open to dating hopefully I'm wrong and just overthinking it but if I know anything about slow burns, we're in for more turmoil and slow burning right when things feel like they're looking up
just when you think things can't possibly get messier, the author says bet and releases a chapter that makes you second guess all your life choices that've lead up to the moment of you reading this
