The king sucks. He covers up what happens to an innocent women just so his stupid son doesn’t look bad, and now he’s probably going to go to Erin to force her to say it’s not true and that their divorce was both parties coming to an agreement just to bail out his son again.

Not defending the king (I'm neutral on him). I just dislike misleading statements like this, given that certain contexts and truths within the manhwa are already layed out for us (readers) to comprehend and understand.
How was it peaceful? She was sick and tired of the emotional abuse so she signed the papers to get out of there. It wasn't mutual, if it was they'd have talked about it before hand. MC knew she wasn't in control of her own life, Raymond was horrible to to Erin. She saw an out and she took it. It just so happened it worked out for the best on either side.
Also why quell rumors that are true? Now the king is trying to lie in order to make Raymond seem okay. What the reporter wrote was all true, it's just gotten out and the king is trying to cover it up for the crown prince to be seen in a good light.

Did you read the manhwa at all? Or are you just nitpicking on some points because of something I can't even discern of? If it wasn't peaceful, did Erin have to leave like a battered wife and scandalously at that? If it wasn't mutual, is Erin being threatened or blackmailed of something so she can leave out of there? You even said "it just so happened it worked out for the best on either side", how in the hell did the parting ways not mutual? As somebody who have and saw this kinds of situations happen in reality, this is the "truths" anybody must take note of. Yes they didn't end up on good terms, at least they're able to go their ways peacefully and with mutual understanding. The only times they (Raymond and Erin) only saw each other (as far as the manhwa goes) are when other people try to involve themselves in their mess.
Also, based on your comment, do you know what the word "quell" is? Basically, it is to put an end to something. Now, did I say that the rumors are false? Can't Erin put an end to or "quell" the rumors by telling the truth about it? How is the king trying to lie so Raymond will look okay, when the event didn't yet happen? Of course, there is an underlying meaning behind the king's request for Erin to attend the said event. But as I said in my previous comment, it is up to her whether to clarify herself or not speak of it since all she's being requested for is her attendance on the event. i dont think you undersgand what mutual means. it was mutual. the contract even has words saying its mutual. erin wasnt coerced to sign the divorce agreement by any means. also, the king gave her a choice, not forcing her at all, to decline helping cover up for raymond so he does care about her, i dislike all of these misleading comments saying otherwise. also hes literally the emperor of the nation? even if he knows raymond is not worthy, he is still part of the imperial family and has to keep things under wraps

Peaceful is when both parties are like hm, this isn’t working out but I still respect the other even after the divorce. Erin is that, Raymond is not. Therefore it was not on peaceful terms. She was abused mentally by both Raymond and his side piece to where she was all but happy to sign the papers.
The king has also shown multiple times to manipulate his son into bothering erin to get her back into the palace, though yes he eventually conceded due to his other son keeping an eye on him. But that just shows his character and at the end of the day, if he wants something everyone else be damned. Take the new chapter, he says that he’ll only deal with his son and his side piece if she attends as his guest to show she’s still chill with the royals.
I wouldn’t be surprised in the next chapter that he announces their remarriage or something along those lines, because apparently Erin is needed for Raymond to ascend the throne.
Also I don’t appreciate you insulting others when they haven’t said a thing back to you. Other people are allowed to have opinions, just as others are allowed to challenge them and show facts. But you’re not making yourself look good when you’re being openly hostile towards others.

As I said already, both Raymond and Erin parted ways peacefully. I didn't mean that they never got into some shit beforehand. They showed respect by not meddling with each other's lives, not until Erin does her dream job that both she and Raymond has been pestered by the king and Raymond's mistress. Therefore the both of them are on peaceful terms. Both chose to divorce yet other people can't help but become meddlesome even after that.
