I don't think the ending was rushed. I don't think there's even more to the story and even if we're going to be in-depth about ML's past it's still gonna be irrelevant to the plot so. You just felt underwhelmed about the story but the ending was not rushed.
just read it again, he's in his senior year, he just got held back a lot bc of his father's debt that they always have to be on the run. Also, in S2 he just graduated highschool not Uni. Assuming their school year starts in autumn, it means they met only a couple of months after fluffyhead left the island.
Timeline aside, I stand with what I said. Knowing ML's whole life story and bacground doesn't really help the plot to move forward. It started as a summer fling > MC discovers ML's dark secret > got raped and ML left > he went back to school and they met again > a little back and forth but they still ended up together in the end. They tried to make the second lead work but with MC's personality together with his trauma and hung ups with ML, it failed. They also tried to establish the mystery behind ML but they centered the story too much on the romance side, it just became nonsense in the end.
TLDR: It's a badly written manhwa.
Now, don't you think it's crazy how they can 'feel' things in the game?
I feel like this is the real mystery I want answers to. Like, what kind of game is this? Are they characters and are they played by real humans who picked them? How come they're sentient? Is this like a VR game? And if it is, what if one of them logs out because they're tired, they can't do that bc their lives are tied to the game?
I have so many questions!!!!

omg he might think Dohu really broke in because of what he said earlier
