wait, I'm lost, how did he become king again? (if someone knows, do tell me, I don't really want to re-read it)

They never really say just they died by unknown reasons and his dad. So by default he became king I guess. But I think it was just assumed he planned to kill everyone( he's crazy enough to go to any length to obtain MC. By becoming king he finally had the power to summon the MC without refusal. Plus, the absolute authority to confine and do whatever he wanted to him without question. I'm quessing the older brother was cunning and caught wind of this beforehand. So he faked his own death to escape and after regaining some strength/ power returned now to reclaim what is his.

I feel like ML is not really invested in the relationship as Gunjoon does, when they're together or when we get to see Jungseok's pov it's always "I shouldn't have gone too hard (on sex)" or "Sex is good. We're really compatible" and it's clear that he's just there to have fun. But for Gunjoon, first he doesn't want to have sex with somebody he doesn't like and he even had a rule before that he will only have sex with his bf once they reached 100 days together. And while reading the story, it's clear that he likes Jungseok but was right that they view this relationship too differently. Aside from that, the rumours + ML's ex-fubu really affected him and was unstable before the confrontation. I think all Gunjoon needed was assurance, at least he will feel 'liked' not just someone who you just wanted to have sex with.

Although I really love other's reactions when they learned he's Kayden's disciple I just couldn't help but notice how slow paced the story is. I mean, what happened to his friends? Even though they're in closed training there are no snippets of them improving or no mention of Jiwoo's mom even though they made it seem like it's an integral part of the story. Even the fight scenes are almost becoming like filler chapters now. I know it sounds like I'm ranting but I really love the story and it's already ch. 335, the plot has been a straight line eversince and tbh I don't see where the story is going from here. After fighting a strong opponent, one of them will lose, most of the time it's the antagonist if not it will end in a tie, then recovery chapter + training, then the next panel you will see a new opponent and the cycle goes one. The plot feels like a limbo honestly. So I get excited when chapters like this comes but I know it will turn out the same like the previous ones.
So there you go, my hidden thoughts about my favourite manhwa.
As much as I love Eleceed, I'm so close on dropping it because I don't see a progress on the plot. Might as well wait for it to marinate before reading it again.
I wonder if the pay is that good for the authors/artists to be that committed to this job. Because if I'm sacrificing my health, I should be able to at least afford a house. I remember so many artists that has back and wrist problems in their early 20s for being a comic artist and even suing about piracy sites because it's affecting their livelihood. So this better be a freelance job because if I'm not earning at least 6 digits per month then it's not worth even if I love drawing.
