Ch 48– Shinjoo gets on his knees and proposes to Kyesoo at end of that chapter. Kyesoo thinks he was gonna do something like assault I think. Well, it is in a way.
Ch 49– Shinjoo has a weird tongue out face as he walks to Kyesoo who’s horrified, Shinjoo is walking to him with a ring, trying to put it on him. Kyesoo throws the ring away, Shinjoo looks upset. Kyesoo rejected him. (I mean if someone came onto me that hard and that person is my rapist, I’d be scared too realistically.)
Shinjoo talks about threesome again, or just to watch them go at it. In CH 50, Shinjoo imagines being in middle or something, and watching Kyesoo and Myungtae have sex.
They talk about some bounding I think. And Shinjoo is tied up by Myungtae, a bdsm form of roping. Shinjoo smells Myungtae’s neck and is happy about it.
CH 51– While Myungtae and Kyesoo are having Alex and Shinjoo is watching as requested, Shinjoo says something and Myungtae looks pissed. He grabs Shinjoo (who’s still tied) and drags him over to Kyesoo, making him give Kyesoo a blowjob. Hardcore sucking as Myungtae fucks Kyesoo in the back.

CH 54– Shinjoo was hearing the sex the whole time outside of the room. Myungtae let Kyesoo rest and went on to check Shinjoo, who has a hard on. Myungtae goes over to him and hugs him, making Shinjoo think there’s a chance to be with him and Kyesoo I believe. But Myungtae’s nice face turns to grumpy and he picks Shinjoo up, and kicks Shinjoo out again. Then, he and Kyesoo leaves—heading to airport. At the airport, they meet the new character named Yeonju (?). Kyesoo knows him and both of them look at each other comedically “I miss you” way. Not a love rival to Myungtae, just platonic friends.
CH 55– Right now—Myungtae, Kyesoo, and new character are together chatting. Kyesoo let him know who he was and how the new character/Yeonju had saved him from school bullies, the new character is Yeonju’s senior classmate. Some minutes later, Kyesoo is just looking at window when he sees Shinjoo walking around in the rain. He’s horrified and Shinjoo sees him.
The new character and Myungtae gather to look as well, the new character is concerned for Kyesoo and angrily storms out of the house to CONFRONT his potential bae: Shinjoo.
He goes up to Shinjoo angrily. Shinjoo turns around and looks with a sad expression, his shirt is see through and nipple too, the new character pauses and stared back in awe. He’s probably into Shinjoo.

I just want to read and find out why ML is so insistent on having sex with his clients. I feel like it’s not a bad or big deal of compromise if he has no debts or in need of money for him to be sleeping with his clients.
Sure MC broke the promise, but people change. And we’ve always known he disliked the thought of being with someone and sleeping with others even if it’s work. ML knew this too and trusted.

So basically Ri-in found out about Cirrus’s scheme from him, and apparently also Skylar’s borderline stalking Chan. Cirrus and Skylar are broken up now. Cirrus broke fatty’s arm and the teacher let his father know.
Crazy how those who beat him didn’t get “consequences” either. Yes Cirrus provoked them, but does it mean violence is justified? Did his lies change the trajectory of their life? Some LITC readers say characters aren’t rational, so you know that, why is this Cirrus’s consequence?
Characters made irrational choices. Honestly, I’m flabbergasted at how good the author puts angst after angst. Even the rapist MLs in other stories do not get the same treatment.
I have seen many LITC readers try to reason and justify what other characters did (beat) to Cirrus, “Oh they did it because they were upset and couldn’t think, they made a mistake, it was an irrational choice.”
When Cirrus fights back or is cold, tells his bff, he gets beat again. And the readers say he deserved it basically, doesn’t account in how he made an irrational choice in the past. People say his trauma doesn’t give him the right to hurt others, I promise you that he does have the right to hurt his parents who abused him all his childhood life and even today.
I won’t lie. I expected Ri-in, someone Cirrus considers family and has known her since probably kids, to sit down and talk it out with him—put some sense into him, tell him how much hurt he caused and ask him why did he do that at the time? Are you a changed person now? Are you still doing that? Or do you feel sorry and it was an irrational choice?
But none of that happened. Of course, Ri-in has a valid reaction and I won’t say she didn’t. She has every right to feel upset, I would be too if my own bff family lied to me and used me as a pawn in the scheme.
His scheme did not change the trajectory, did it hurt the other characters? Yes. But is he a villain? No.
Skylar would’ve seen Chan and his girlfriend anyways, the only difference is that he got to see it earlier because Cirrus schemed for the right timing to bump into them at the amusement park. Perhaps Sky knew this, it wasn’t a big deal since they didn’t get along at the time and Cirrus isn’t the same as he was before—that’s why he gave Cirrus a chance to come clear. Cirrus got scared and lied again.
I don’t condone what he did. But I believe he deserves a chance, and once Skylar is ready, I am set and ready to see them together. They’re struggling teens until it comes to Cirrus being beat for his past scheme.
Everyone forgets Cirrus didn’t even get along with Skylar at the time.
This is why I think the TIMING is WRONG and the “CONSEQUENCES” catching up is WRONG too. It doesn’t match up. I do think he should apologize to Ri-in and Skylar, but that’s it. He doesn’t need to go on his knees and beg for mercy.

I doubt the author is trying to represent dark skinned people. They shouldn’t be dumb enough to not know what brown skin is. I’m sure they meant for this character to have gray skin, no biggie!
I am sure the author knows cause his nipples are brown and darker than his skin tone. I hope we pass this grey corpse skin hate phase. He looks fine as hell and that’s all I’ll focus on.

Love the selectiveness. I also get where some are coming from and I don’t want to be ignorant, I know how it feels to have skin color misrepresentation. But is it really something the author misrepresented? Maybe they just wanted the character with grey undertones.

There’s really no right or wrong when it comes to making characters is part of my main point. I think we should just focus on story and not let this skin hate get crazy.
Honestly, this character would still be considered dark toned in my country and culture where light skin is the standard. I understand that to some, seeing Greg undertones is weird. But weirdest thing, something we should worry about more, is possibly going to see an Angel species possibly going to groom the red head.
Who can define proper skin in fiction? That’s my point. Here it’s just a story the author made, we don’t really know if this is a pattern in author’s works. But for example, Genshin Impact, is literally basing places off reality or just culturally and the music and the people too, like Sumeru for example, but the skin tones aren’t diverse which is misrepresentation.
This is coming from someone who tends to explain a lot of Cirrus’s side. I think many are confused as to why Skylar accepted Cirrus’s apology if Skylar is going to be an “asshole” later on.
I don’t think any of them should be cruel to each other, it just leads to a never ending cycle of abuse in a relationship. But I do know that they are humans who hurt each other due to their own issues and problems that stem from trauma and misunderstandings.
Skylar accepted his apology but he didn’t know the full context, especially the part where Cirrus chose to hide the fact that he schemed against him during the amusement park. That one, Skylar didn’t know. And it was a betrayal to him when he found out.
Skylar most likely thought Cirrus apologized about the stuff that…Skylar knew Cirrus had done, but there were things that he didn’t know so obviously he wouldn’t bring it up if he didn’t know.
It is normal to be jealous but we all know Cirrus’s reactions are far from normal. He has deeply trauma rooted insecurities, and he threw a can at Skylar’s back just because he saw him speaking with Chan-il—that is NOT normal.
I can also understand why Cirrus is feeling the way he does, as I mentioned: Trauma and abandonment issues. I’ve dealt the same situation so I’d know very well how it feels to be the extremely jealous one.
I do agree that what Skylar did is not right either. Rather than saying normal or not, I would say it’s morally wrong. And especially because Skylar knows how bad Cirrus’s trauma is, if I recall right—Cirrus also told him about the pedophile teacher and abusive parents.
Cirrus is emotionally dependent on Skylar and that itself is very concerning, and not normal.
Skylar treating and saying Cirrus is a second choice, it all stems from Skylar’s anger issues. He did not mean it, I can tell. Why would he mean it? For all I know, he only saw Minwoo’s replacement in Chan-il, a nicer version.
Not right, but there’s an explanation for that. BUT I do not like that many people defend that. We can criticize Skylar’s actions and not baby him, but I’ll still love him and Skylar.
Cirrus is not a saint, nor is Skylar. They’re both problematic at times, but they’re teens who are mentally unstable at times and need help. They don’t need readers who celebrate their problematic actions.
