I LOVE THIS FAMILY BRUH
idk if its js me or if its js 2am but this family dynamic is SOOO refreshing compared to the ones we've mostly had so far like
A father who actually doesn't hate his daughter's husband?!?! LIKE THE BAR IS IN HELL YES BUT USUALLY I READ SO MANY PLOTS ON HOW EVEN AS TIME PASS BY MY BRO STILL HATES THE GUY
but yeah ig this only applies to the dad not the brother lol BUT AT LEAST HES BECOMING LESS BITCH ABT KILLIAN NOW LOL
ALSO love love love the sister's character development like AGHH finally a sister that was given the opportunity to change (?) or like finally not be labeled as the antagonist because of her rivalry with her sister
And honestly Agnes was at fault too for letting that child become the way she is in the first to mid part of the story cus she let her lil sis think she was being treated as an expendable, as she have said during that kidnapping scene. I truly feel bad for her towards the end of that arc so I was happy that she got the revenge she was looking for
Overall this was a great read and im also glad she stood her ground and remained as an heir because go girl!!! Love how she stayed true to her principles while not sacrificing anything precious to her to get what she wants in the end.
What a great read to end women's month!

Im genuinely gonna throw up.
The expressions, the depictions, the emotions and the overall story makes me so so grieve with a heavy heart.
Focusing aside from the main characters relarionship, whats happening to them, war, is truly a devastating thing and is a reality in the real world as well. Thats why this read was hard to digest. While reading I recalled how sometimes i feel like the old annette, never truly knowing what it means for someone to die because of such tragic events because of the life I was born in. However slowly as i grow older, just like her now, i try to be more aware as possible, recognising and learning more the different struggles and experiences our fellow people surviving in such circumstances.

I hope this doesn't come across as ingenuous.. Just wanted to let these thoughts of mine out.
But for the story itself, man, i know theyre gonna be engame one way or another.. Its just that it feels truly better for them to heal separately. The scars cause by each other would forever remain but at least they can finally be liberated by not being around the cause of their pain..

Uuerrughhh is it really inevitable for aseras or wgvr his name is, be a villain? I know and he knows too that he resorts to such inhumane acts but i was hoping dahlia cpuld save him,, feels so unfair that while the other main characters get to be helped by her, hes struggling to even get a taste from that.
Idk but thats js me tho..
oh hell yeah
