YAYYY ITS FINALLY DONE (WITH UNFINISHED SIDE STORY TOO)
i think ive reread this 5 times before its actually completed and FINALLY its done... Really love this series sm, id probably rate it a 3.9/5!
It could be better but generally i have no qualms of how it ended. Plus i rlly love the fl and ml dynamic. Its not everyday u get to read this kind of relation in these kinds of manhwa (ahem cold blooded duke of the north, obsessive, psycho... U get the drill..) BUT YEAH! Cant wait for the remaining chapters as id love to see the children moreヾ(☆▽☆)
UPDATE: checked tiktok cus i wanna se edits or spoilers for future chaps, byt instead i see a bunch of HATE comments towards either fl, ml, and even for the BOTH OF THEM.
i js pray they finish the manhwa or evwn the novel cus there is SO MUCH to see rather than looking at the characters at surface level... Especially with generalizations of ML compromising his love towards FL and FL obsessing over ML. LIKE.
to clear things up simply, if u finish the story, cael fell in love with hestia naturally. Maybe the same way he fell for dianne but in different circumstance. However, that doesnt diminish the fact that his love is NOT lesser than his love for his first love. if anythung, its actualky greater now. Just cus he fell in love with her after he actually loved dianne before doesnt mean hestia is the rebound for him. Ugh.
And as for FL being obsessed with ML... Well... Duh... She is her bias... So.... And plus what shes more obsessed is the revenge cus she was literally led to believe that the reason she went thru time is cus cael died because of them for nothing so yeah...if u, a reader, gets transported into a novel with ur fav character in it and he dies injusticely (?) and now u went thru back in time coincidentallt but also implied cus why was that the only time the author intervened ince again? Then that probably might be the best course of action she had to take.
But yeah its js. So frustrating reading those comments. I also saw a comment that cael graped her???? Like HELLO???????? omfg they are stressung me out

I didnt hate it, i acrually liked it. i thunk it really jjst make u feel that way as we get to read and possibky feel the guilt these two have, as well as the resentment unknowingly built up by the little sister

The desperation, the longing, the slowburn UGH this is js what i need.
Recently ive been trying to choose what to read more carefully since i have so little free time on my hands so id rather read somethung of high quality rather than what i usually read back then everyday (recycled plot fantasy hisyorical isekai that are lowk kinda slop but still a read cus u have nothing else to do). So this one is such a heaven sent.
I love the pacing and how slowly the relationship grows and deepens, especially Rita's and Isabel's. It's not rushed like other manhawas where 20 chaoters in the dynamic of the parent child is close now, which is okay deoending on the context but nost of the time its just done to rush the pacing. However for this one, i understand whag the author is slowly showing and thabj god they actuakky take their time in building it carefullt rather than rushingly.
But yeah this was a good read. I should have marinated it a bit more but u just cant help it. Imma just reread it again soon.
I'll give this a 3.75/5 stars cus its a pretty readable manhwa with likeable and unlikeable characters, it just feels weak in some parts, esp in the world build up and story elements
But other than that i really like the Fl! Not that unecess dumb and can really stand up for herself, a well as very vocal about her felings. Same as ML. So it was quite satisfying to watch their relationship blossom. Also love the father and the grandpa lmao! Theyre pretty one dimensional but i guess the author jusy focused on the main character more.
Also its the first time i think that ive read an imepial family not caring equaly of bith of thei children lol regadles of gender and status. So ther3 rlly evil on that one..

anyways its been a long time since ive picked uo a manhwa (and this series) again and lets js say im thankful that i read it when they lowk had their misunderstanding cleared up now lol or else i might feel unsatisfied wooo
But overall this was a solid read, reminds me of shutline!
