What you defined twinkified it's actually a natural process in the artist's style. As the story progresses, the artist gets used to draw the characters over and over again, so unconsciously their features begin to round out, with larger eyes or heads, giving them a more youthful or stylized image. In fact, this happens to almost all characters, not just the uke, but people focus more on the mc because the changes are more noticeable. It's not something that is done on purpose, and I find it strange that people are bothered by something like this or when the artist's style changes, when all of these are natural changes. It's very difficult for the art to remain the same throughout the story.
So I was optimistic and had painted a very pretty picture when this started. I expected for it to have that tug at our heart strings with Seme starting to get jealous and realising his feelings and repenting for it all.
But, this turned out pretty bad, because it was mostly from Seme's perspective—we were made to feel bad about him, when in reality he's the dumbest, selfish, narcissist and worst piece of trash kinda person. Meanwhile uke is the one who deserves all of our sympathies.. then the second ml, he was the sweetest of the sweet hearts, he deserves everything!!
So all in all this turned out to be very spoilt, such a waste of good start, pretty art, and great dialogues delivery.

I think it just went on to prove how they took the babies and their own lives seriously since if it hadn't reversed there's no choice in them getting preg or not but now we can see that they were responsible and smart enough to avoid pregnancy as giving birth and taking care of children isn't just something you can do magically without learning all about it. Thas my take on this
