can someone recap season 1 for me, i have awful memory and dont remember which manhwa this is and im too lazy to reread it
So I don't remember how they have come across each other as adults but jitae (ML) was kidnapped my mieum's (mc) dad and Mc saved him. But he has amnesia as an adult, but now that they are adults they've reencountered and according to my notes they just fuck a lot. Season 2 is showing us their actual encounter as kids.
also, yeah, i understand that derrick is under mind control and so is eclis (whatever his name is) which is why we shouldnt hate them so much but like….. HATING IS SO MUCH FUNNER and if they had just…. rejected her advances better… then maybe this wouldnt have happened i know im stretching it but cmon theres gotta be something we can blame them for. the mc has been through hell and i cant help but just hate those who caused her pain. yvonne a hoe
I'll give you a reason to continue to hate lol The Duke and Reynold were also brainwashed at some point throughout the story but they've always tried to hear out Penelope and believed her to the point that they wake up from the brainwash. You can continue to hate on the two cause they never even tried to see penelope's perspective
Also to continue the hate, Derrick is a sister living pedophile and views Penelope sexually!
I didn't read the novel, but i got the feeling that it wasn't just derrick who went under hypnosis but yeah, i guess his "feelings" for penelope is too shallow to even be considered as "crush".
Nah you're right Reynolds only was able to be brainwashed when Yvone was next to him and it was bc he ACTUALLY cared or Penelope but derrek never did and also he always been a ass. i love the art and i think its beautiful, but damn i wish it was just a tad more expressive. it seems like the art style is a little copy and paste, making everyone have the same look but its still good. i just felt like whenever they cried, it didnt feel like they were crying… lol

Real. I commented the same thing before in a TT post. I like the story and the characters are pretty but they also all look very monotone. They don't need to have exaggerated cartoony expressions to look alive but somehow the art for this seems to struggle with it
i binge read this entire thing just now and have one question ive been wondering since the first chapters: did the mc immediately move in with the ml and if so, why? they knew each other for TWO days and he bought his kid w him to live with this stranger and they never even discussed the living situation, like, he bought his kid and they just never left. it was confusing how he just suddenly started living there

.I think, that happened because MC just blurted out the truth to ML that he came from other universe and is truly clueless. And ML became attached to them cause he his good with his child. His child also love MC anddd ultimately he fall inlove with MC so he don't want him to leave his side. And MC is new in that world, he can't even protect himself being an omega. He don't know a lot of things that's why ML is so protective of him. I think it's pity at first that turned out into caring then love. BUT STILL I HOPE MC LEAVE AND HAVE THEIR OWN HOUSE.
My take is that the ML wants the MC to live with home because he feels responsible as the one who helps him from his suicide attempt and his duty as a psychiatrist (he probably doesn’t initially believe MC transmigrated into a BL book, and he knows there’s the issue with MC medication/prescription, plus MC’s presence helps stabilize ML’s sons overall condition. As time goes on ML realizes the attraction he’s had toward MC from the beginning and I think he fully accepts MC transmigration story and wants to keep him close and pursue him romantically)
From the MC point of view the real MC and ML are their children, both parents (him and the hot Dr. dad) are just side characters. Also because his sister is obsessed with dramas, his character has a weird background set up and an abusive mother in law. Seeing his now son (who he wants to cherish and love) I think he wants to raise him in a safer and happier environment than what was originally in the story. He kinda only casually read the original story so he’s not exactly sure what could happen especially his sisters personality/“unique interests” so for him it seems safest and surest way to get help from the Dr. who just happens to be his future in-law. This also gives him the perfect chance to watch over their kids the “real MC and ML” from his point of view, and make sure they end up with their happy ending. Plus he initially had intentions to become independent and leave once got up on his feet, but Dr. Dad/new ML has started realizing his feeling for transmigrated dad/new MC, and wants to keep him as close as possible to woo him and keep the flies away. The best way for him to do that is to use the kids and to keep him there since it really does help Dr. dad/new ML’s sons condition/development, adding house keeper duties + salary is just another way to help transmigrated dad/new MC to normalize the situation keeping him from running away.

Umm I think it’s weird how he really believed him. The ml is a Psychiatrist so I kinda never believe he actually believed the mc when he told the ml his past
ong they couldve made it into a comedic thing bc why tf , as a psychiatrist, would u believe this shit about a random guy who was ab to commit suicide tellin u hes from another world… i do think it makes it a little more intimate between them because it shows that he “truly understands” the mc and its because hes a psychiatrist but its kind of unrealistic.
its so hard to like the ML when hes been acting like a fucking dick toward his own mother. i better see some character development. Im mainly staying for the paternity test stuff but yk. He has potential considering that hes nice to the FL but his behavior toward others, especially how he sees EVERYONE as competition is too much for me

right, i can't stans the type of ML who is controlling freak, disrecpect to others except FL, try to manipulate and bound the girl's life to his because " he loves her". And the way no one can talk senses into him and just blatantly accept his actions and blame it for his immature. And girls go crazy over him, too?They all being ill treated and disrecpected for not being the FL(i don't count the villainess who did do smt) Not even mention his recations to other male characters,too.
I just finished chapter 36 (end of season 1) and I like the black haired god so much more than the white haired one. Like, so far I have disliked every character and Heil (i think is the black haired god) is soooo much better. Everytime he appears its like a breath of fresh air. I hate that the white haired god is obsessed with his past partner when the mc exists and it makes me wish he would just get back together with his past lover and makes me hope that the mc will get with Heil. Can someone who felt the same as me while reading either reassure me that it gets better or tell me that ill probably dislike the ending before i continue reading it

also, ppl are mentioning memory loss. if he gets memory loss that will be so bad. he will get ZERO character development. the whole point of him being broken up with is to teach him a lesson about being a better person and boyfriend, but if he gets memory loss then the ml will probably go back to him and unless he leaves him again i dont see memory loss being a good idea
I don’t know about memory loss. But he will definitely be unconscious for a while. JJ will most likely feel guilty considering all their interactions even since the break up. Leo will probably have trauma about racing again.
