Okay, I'll try my best to explain what has happened until now. At the beginning, our MC was reincarnated as the first daughter of a Duke. The "ML" (I'm assuming he's the male lead) is the second prince of the empire.
They actually first met when they were younger. They encountered each other in the palace, and like the person above said, he showed her kindness. For that reason, she wanted to protect him.
As for why she pretended to be an old lady and the granddaughter of that old lady, it is because she was able to see, hear and interact with ghosts. In the empire, that was called sorcery and sorcery is banned. Of course, our MC didn't want to risk the lives of her family, especially her younger sister's, so she pretended to be a lowly commoner in the hopes of being able to save the prince.
She first heard of the plan of his murder through a ghosts. She's masking her ability to see ghost as sorcery or the ability to see "profecies" or "predictions". Right now, both of our MCs are working together to catch the the one(s) plotting the prince's murder.

I wish daniel would remain menacing and “pretendedly friendly” towards her. The fact that hes warming up to her (i think) shows that he doesnt rly care about his BFF the other cupid guy and i think thats sort of boring/scummy. And he (especially) shouldnt be falling for her
I also think it would be interesting for her to find out his thoughts and the prophecy!!!

OK SO im on chapter 18 and im thinking of dropping it. The mc is annoying the shit out of me LOL. Just wanted to know if the story gets ANY BETTER
It's alright tbh there are times that she gets more annoying esp when the ML hides so much shit from her and she kinda forgives him for it too easily I'm only reading it to just see the ending of the story
I think it's worth it. The plot gets more interesting later, and she works out her communication issues with Ish/Izu.
Her ex is still cray cray though
I'm not gonna lie, you'll probably get more annoyed reading more of the story - but I feel like it's gotten somewhat better as of right now, with ML and FL having a much needed talk about their relationship.
I swear to GOD if JOOIN MISUNDERSTANDS THIS IM GONNA DROP THIS. Jooin is so dumb so i dont doubt this. I suspect that jooin will remmeber this “kiss” and think cain has other “intentions” towards him and will abandon him, or something stupid like that.
