Oh my god, this is such a masterpiece. I love, LOVE the way the author portrayed Midori's struggle with heteronormativity and how this mindset was already rooted in her brain even during her high school days (like when she told Maki that they should find a boyfriend soon because they're both girls and that their relationship wouldn't last anyway). That hit so freaking hard!!!
Maki, on the other hand, struggles with keeping up with society's expectations—like having a boyfriend or starting a family because she will be too "old" to do those soon. Reading mangas that handle these topics so maturely and well is rare, so I'm really glad to see a GL manga like this.
I'm also happy that Komari overcame her heteronormativity struggles in the end. I'm really glad there's no bad ending or anything like that—just lesbians being "scared" of what's to come in the future, but not anymore, because being with each other reassures them that everything will be okay.
May this kind of love find me wahhh
