The way Brett is still holding on to composure to make sure his assault doesn't affect him oof it hurts and is v real in how many victims deal with their own SA. I'm so interested in how the author is going to deal with the emotional impact on Brett. This story is done so wonderfully so far so I have faith in how it's gonna be handled. REAL many other low-quality writing stories get higher ratings and I think it's quite unfair when it comes to stories like this
I did some non accurate math and for this manhwa to catch up to the current novel ch it's gonna take 15 YEARS min without hiatus like there's no way I fear I think it's gonna stop somewhere random and we'd just have to continue with the novel
fr. i can't even imagine them skipping any arcs . like the plot and world building is done so well in the novel that they can't even rush through it in manhwa.

Yes they lack chemistry, and there's no buildup but I think the main detriment is the fact that they have basically NO facial expressions. The ML especially is stiff AF, but in general the facials for the MC also aren't too vibrant or different they are v miniscule-y different

Mild spoiler but acc to the comments the novel doesn't have a redemption arc and are hoping for a diff route for the manhwa bUT I would rather it didn't have a redemption arc tbh!! Because how do u even redeem a rapist like that anyway (ESPECIALLY with his crazy ass rapist mentality in the first couple chapters) and it wouldn't seem like a rape-romantisizing story but rather a horror-BL vibes which I would enjoy with these characters a lot more tbh (although for me the best ending would definitely be Kay escaping from Zig although I know that's never gonna happen )
